I should've written this review when it was still winter, maybe it could help some folks; Folks like myself who did not understand how incredibly valuable and lovable these are! I only recently discovered the hand warmer version, and those totally changed my life. Unlike hand warmers, you never want to shake these. The instructions are a little scary, I'm not gonna lie. 😂 They say things like “do not use in ventilated or loose-fitting footwear,” and “wear shoes immediately” (hilarious, never seen *that* warning before). They also warn not to use if you have circulation problems, and that's probably a good idea, but I will say that I do have circulation problems and these worked great to help me. The ease of use is totally there, you just peel the back off and stick it to the bottom of your sock, the OUTSIDE of your sock. I can't emphasize what the difference they make. I was hesitant to put them on my sensitive toes, but they never get scary hot (have worn with boots, rain boots, and sneakers). I was also uncertain about what it would be like to stand on a padded sticker type thing (I have foot and back problems and wondered if that would be uncomfortable) but it's zero problem. Anyhoo, they saved me when we got a bunch of snows, and walking around outside in general over the winter. The heat lasts… idk… somewhere between 5 and 7 hours depending on outside temperature and maybe even depending on specific pairs. Sometimes they seem to last longer. Excellent! I haven't used them for hunting but that would be perfect. I even ordered more to use next year because sometimes they're hard to find in stock. I do wish they were a little bit cheaper but overall a good deal. Comfort is king!
These are extra large. I use hand warmers inside gloves. These extra large and hot warmers cause excessive heat , almost burning the skin. Best to use for camping to insert in sleeping bag if you have cold feet, but to keep away from contact with the skin.
I use The Hot Hands Toe Warmers Because I Suffer From Cold Feet In The Winter Time , I Find That They Help Keep My Feet Toasty Warm In My Boots And Shoes When I Go Out To Walk My Dog And Take Care Of My Other Animals. When The Temperature Drops ,I Need My Hot Hands Toe Warmers, So If You Get Cold Feet Like I Do , Go Right Now and Buy Yourself A Few Packs Of Hot Hands Toe Warmers. I Love These And Also The Hand Warmers.
These are THE BEST for when we are seated in the jump seat at that door feeling that cold air on our feet. We have to wear dress shoes and the pantyhose aren't warm enough. I wear these all winter long. One pair a day.
I'm going to use these to keep my toes warm while I try to clear snow from necessary walkways. I've had frostbite twice before, and each time makes it easier to get it again. So I'm counting on these to keep me not just warm but safe.
They work great although they don't last very long. But definitely worth it because they keep the feet warm on the cold snowy days when you have to walk your dog!
The product price was ok but I paid full shipping for an incomplete order. I'll have to pay full shipping to get unavailable item from another company.
I really like these. The only problem with them is that they are air activated so once you put them on and put your foot into your boot they don't get warmer. After you take your boots off they get very hot. Would work better if we could get the same amount of heat once inthe boots.
The toe packs do work, but be real careful. It's instructions say to put on the bottom of your socks, sticky side touches the sock then put on your boots, the only problem for me was they got hot from the friction and i had to take them out quickly ! I think it's up to the individual to test them, as everyone is different. I had to say if i recommend them or not, i said no. But that's my opinion.
They are easy to use, they adhere to the socks and stay in place surprisingly well! However, they do not produce any heat at all, my toes were very cold, I didn't feel any warmth coming from these warmers.
