I love this warmer, so easy to use and any type of container will work. Every adult in my house has one to take to work. No more waiting in line at the microwave, make this worth every penny. Very good buy I have mine 6 years now and use it everyday at work. Home cooked meal or frozen meals works just as well.
My daughter is an RV'er and uses her Hotlogic all the time. She recommended that I get one because I'm basically limited to one room. This is a lifesaver.
I'm in the airline industry and always on the go. During my layovers I have always needed a way to heat up my food but not all hotels have microwaves (microwaves aren't even good for food). Anyway I love this hot logic because it's very portable and works well. Yes it does take any were from 45 minutes to an hour to heat up my food but by the time I undress, unpack and shower, my food isready. I definitely recommend.
I work in an office in NYC and our space is so small, we don't have room for a microwave. Buying lunch everyday in Manhattan can get very pricey so this little gem has been a life saver! I just plug up my little oven an hour before my break and I by the time I go to lunch I have hot food ready to eat!
I bought this for my husband who drives a truck. He loves it. The only issue is finding a container that will withstand the heating element. I'm unsure of plastic. The instructions state it will accommodate anything that can withstand 212 degrees but most containers don't list the heat range. I had a ceramic dish with a lid that fits perfect but he needs one with compartments. Other than that it's just as described and works great.
Eating healthy has become simple. I can now enjoy my much needed break at work. Instead of standing in long lines I plug in my mini oven 30 minutes, it's Hot. Then I can punch out and relax. The second one will be for my husband. He's a trucker, always on the road, eating fast foods. Well it's beginning to really show. I'm getting my sexy back, while he gets his healthy back. Thanks Hot Logic!!!
I was skeptical, but this little baby does EXACTLY what it promises. It will slow heat/cook anything you bring from frozen prepackaged meals to raw meat and veggies. I keep it tucked away on my desk, and it is small enough to not be obtrusive. Place your meal inside in the morning when you get to work, and forget about it until lunch. You will have an evenly hot, evenly cooked meal soooo much better than if it had been microwaved. Try this and you will NOT be disappointed.
I purchased my first one about 7-8 years ago (QVC , came with Pyrex glass container) used it for lunch at work. The insulation on this seems to be not as thick as my first one but works great. I placed mine on a cutting board because it can get very hot. Also use pot holders to remove container.
I bought this item to heat up food on the go. It does its job well enough ... although the heating time leaves to be desired. It takes approximately 45-90 minutes to heat up a plate of food. It would be perfect for people on the go or working folks who have no access to microwave. However, do not expect this to warm up food instantly. It pretty much works like a slow cooker ... plug and forget about it til it's time to eat. A 6-cup size Pyrex glass container fits perfectly with this. I would definitely recommend.
At first I wasn't too happy with this item. I had to keep trying different containers, to find one which food would actually get to 165*F. I finally purchased a Pyrex, rectangular, 3 Cup glass dish, with snap on lid, and this did the trick. Since I was looking for something I could heat meals in, while at Craft Fairs, and such, for three people, I will be purchasing two more of these mini ovens.
