I purchased this cordless blower because I was tired of connecting three 50 ft extension cords together and dragging them through my yard. I have a steep hilly lawn and there were areas on my yard that I could never even get to with an electric blower. I live in a national forest and have leaves everywhere. I love to keep my yard looking neat and this cordless blower is just amazing and has some extreme power to push leaves even through grass. I just purchased a second battery so that I can keep working longer. You do use up the battery power when using the Turbo button. With one battery you have do some manual raking while it is charging up. It is very hard to rake leaves manually while standing on a steep hill and now my new cordless blower makes this job so easy. This is an awesome tool and well worth the price! I just love to go out and blow leaves!
Used one for years. Forced to go back to corded for a few months. HATED it. So nice not having a long cord getting stuck on everything (car tires, patio furniture, shrubs) Twice the power of my corded blower -- which is headed for the garage sale box. Gas lawn mower on last leg. May spring for EGO mower soon (Christmas gift?)
I bought my ego blower at home depot, I bought the kit with the charger and 2.5 ah battery , so far I am very pleased with the power , adjustable flow , battery life and mostly the portability and ease of use , I get this thing out for everything now , where before I would grab a broom because of the hassle of using my extension cord and corded blower , now I find myself using the blower for more and more tasks , I even use it to dry my car after washing !
Had ordered the EGO chainsaw, 56 volt battery & charger a month ago after buying a home in a forest. Haven't used the chainsaw yet but since the blower uses the same 56 volt battery, I ordered it. At this home, leaves and pine needles are a never ending chore. My old blower had an electric wire but I didn't have an extension cord long enough to reach the end of my driveway. This EGO blower handles the lengthy driveway perfectly. Wife wanted to know how good it worked so I put on the Turbo and nearly knocked her over. You won't go wrong with this tool.
Worth the investment, battery holds up and it gets clean up done after trimming and or cutting the grass with both the ego plus assets!!
This is a good blower. It has plenty of power for my needs. I love the fact I don’t have to mess with a cord. It makes it so easy walking around. A couple of things to consider being the tube the air is blown out is not very long and is not tapered. I had to pay extra for an attachment that makes the blower work much more efficiently. The weight might be a bit more than a plug in blower, but not by too much.
56V Lithium-Ion Cordless Blower is simple and easy to use as well as easily charged. I really like having the turbo button to give additional power for certain spots/areas. I use it to blow of 800 sq.ft. of veranda and an additional patio. I have lots of furniture with cushions that collect dust which the cordless blower takes care of that with ease and no tangled cords. I am then able to blow off the front porch, 3 car garage and long driveway quick and easy. Again, no cord to deal with and trip over. I love it.
Blows strong, batteries don't last long, but I have a small area to do. Not too sure on the piping assembly. The end on the blower doesn't seem to be the right piece. It just slips over the blower end instead of clipping on as they show. Still haven't figured out how the included strap attaches to anything, so it's useless. All in all, it blows...
Functions as expected, except this thing DOES NOT blow 170MPH. Due to downsizing and moving in to a condo where I can't store fuel. I switched out from an Echo ES-250 rated at 165MPH. This blows about half of that. Most unfortunate. It's fine now as I don't have the summer and fall needs that I used to. But, I have a feeling I'll be very disappointed when I'm trying to blow snow off my truck.
was already opened. Heavy on wrist, not balanced, noisey, and battery lasted maybe 8 minutes, not 30.
