Hotwire Foam Cutter

Cuts like a dream. Nice, stable base. Easily comes apart for storage. I just wish it had a hand-held option. Cutting full size sheets of foam was very difficult. With the way it breaks down for storage, I'll figure out a way to add a handle and be able to use it both ways. What a marketing advantage that would be!

The wire is not fitting well, need to return

Used this item one time, worked good then just stopped in the middle of my project. Never came back on. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Would've gave it a five star because it was doing a good job but once it stopped the stars went down. Would recommend

The item did not work and the cutting line was so thin and when I tightened the line using the thumb screw all it did was sag never making a full connection with the contacts. I attempted to make adjustments by winding the lone around the brass loop a until it was snug enough to maintain full content the cutting line never reach the correct heat to cut through at it very best if it had worked it would Ave taken a year to cot through the fan work in on with a single pass and the lines eventually there were no instructions either included in box
