We purchased the house of happy wiggles bookshelf and it is a great addition to our daughters bedroom. We purchased in the natural color and it’s a beautiful lighter shade wood. I was pleasantly surprised by how many books we were able to fit on this bookshelf. The size is perfect for a toddlers room! The quality of this bookshelf is nice and it was quite easy to put together! Great bookshelf!
This bookshelf is the cutest addition for any child’s room. Putting it together was quite simple- and I think the parts of the bookshelf that aren’t quite lined up are due to my own errors. There are a few areas of the wood that are a little damaged but it’s not the end of the world especially as it’s going to be in my child’s room. Overall it is a cute piece of furniture.
Very cute and love that it’s the perfect size for my toddler to grab his books but the books don’t all fit in this due to the heights of shelves but it’s the scalloped design that gets in the way of the books that’s the most annoying part. Overall, love the look and my son does love this but find the materials to be somewhat cheap and did use wood glue to fix when assembling.
Wanted to love this more than I did. First off the material feels cheap. One of the brackets broke in the front and I had to use wood glue and clamps to fix it. I was not rough with it. Also, looked bigger in the photos than it was in reality. Used for my sons room for his books but many of his books were too tall for the shelves. It’s really cute but the quality and the size in between the shelves is a bummer to me. Going to keep because I went through the trouble of putting together and attached it to my wall (does come with wall anchors which was a bonus!) but not sure if I’d buy again.
While the bookshelf itself is cute and playful, it’s a lot smaller than I had expected, although it is a good size for little kids. That said, it was not easy to put together. It looks simple, and it would be if everything fit together correctly. There were a handful of pieces that didn’t go together properly, particularly when it came to the border and one of the bottom pieces so we had to make do with what we could. It’s unfortunate because it looks whimsical and fun, but I’m not so sure that I’ll be buying from them again based off of this experience.
Not only was this shelf frustrating to put together, a handful of pieces did not fit properly or the screws didn’t work. For example, the trim provided didn’t fit correctly and the top and bottom kept falling off. We ended up just gluing those pieces on, and wish we would have done so in the first place to save the headache.
It looks fine but not worth the price - the cheaper Mainstay bookshelf that is $29 looks are better quality. The seams don’t line up and leave gaps on the scalloped frame. The boards were filthy with black smudges on them out of the box - it wiped away fine. I am unimpressed and will not be buying this brand again - I will stick with the new scalloped line from Mainstay.
This bookcase is the perfect size for a kids room and the design is unique and cute, but those are about the only positives I can say about it. The “pre-drilled” holes were not appropriately sized, the borders didn’t line up, and even the knobs that you put in to hold the shelves were the most challenging part of the whole assembly. I would not spend any money on this piece of furniture.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I only paid $20 out of pocket because I had a giftcard and it isn’t even worth that. Such cheap quality and came with scratches, wood particles chipped already. Such flimsy material. They shouldn’t even be allowed to sell this
This was not good quality or sturdy wood. The border lasted a week before it fell off. Don’t waste your money.
