As an adaptation of equipment to hold the iron cord over the board, for me, it is perfect. Very sturdy attachment to board, one bolt, and spring feature with distance keeps cord out of way while ironing. As its description states, Flexible Iron Cord Minder, that's what it does. Thank you. This is a well-made cord minder. I have had plastic ones that ended up breaking after continued use. Definitely keeps the cord out from under the iron, when ironing and is so flexible during use, you don't even realize it's there!!! This one is made of sturdy steel and also collapses when putting ironing board away!!! It's a win, all the way around!!

Contrary to some other reviews mentioning a "plastic screw", this cord minder has a large/substantial STAINLESS STEEL bolt and a steel bracket. Can't get much sturdier than this! Because my ironing board has a rolled edge all around, I did have to use a small 1/2" block of wood to securely install the cord minder (a thicker block, like from a 2-by-4 will work, too). It does have plastic parts that secure the cord. These parts are flexible and seem durable. The cord minder will rotate parallel to the edge of the ironing board only one direction (counterclockwise when standing at the board), the cord minder will not fall forward while you're ironing. Also, this cord minder seems to be a bit longer than others I've used, so the cord is held high above the board and doesn't tend to brush the top of clothes being ironed. All-in-all, this is a great cord minder and a HUGE improvement over the previous one I was using, which drove me nuts falling forward, not holding the cord securely, etc.

I love this iron cord. It attaches easily to the ironing board and the top holds the cord tight. The whole rod bends when you are pulling on the cord so makes it easy to iron without the cord getting in the way. The top that holds the cord does wear out in time but it works better than anything else on the market. I do recommend it.

This is my second iron minder. My earlier one was years old and satisfied me for all those years. It keeps the ironing cord away from the board and cord off the floor. It bends easily and is easily installed onto your ironing board. I am very satisfied and would order it again and again and would recommend it again and again

The cord to my iron kept getting tangled up in between the ironing board and the attachment for the iron rest- very frustrating! Now after installing this cord minder I don't have that issue! Very pleased with this purchase!

This iron cord holder was perfect. It's tall enough to keep the cord out of the way yet long enough to be able to use the iron efficiently. Plus it bends easily if I need to stretch the cord. I am very happy that I bought this. Plus it was very low cost compared to other brands.

This works just fine. I would like it better if it was had a plug in with an on /off switch. Most irons now supposedly turn themselves off after a given time but I'd like to be able to be in charge ot that myself. I have it attached to a short powerstrip with an on off switch.
