the poles expand and are a great height. they do have a prong on the bottom to stick into the dirt, but my line goes over a paved area and I had to stick it into a rubber mat I have.
My clothesline prop works well. I need another one and will be ordering it soon.
shipped fast and exceeded my expectations
The new clothesline props are just what I needed. Being adjustable and sturdy makes them a great buy. Highly recommend.
Simple and effective, keeps the line taut. Sometimes the tension on the pole slips a little when hanging heavier items, like bedding, but does fine with standard clothing loads. The hook design at the top is also novel, keeps the line from coming off if it's windy or the pole from falling when the tension is taken off the line. Affordable.
I have been looking for clothesline props for a long time as I like to hang out my clothes to dry during the summer. I would have preferred an aluminum pole about 7 feet high. Instead, I could fine only these heavy poles that are supposed to tighten in the middle to the appropriate length. Unless one adds some duck tape or the equivalent, even at their tightest, there is slippage which is not good for the clothes on the line.
First, it came broken in the box. The box was fine and did not have damage. The tip of the clothes pole was completely broken off on one of the poles. The poles do not seem sturdy. We adapted and keep a close eye on the clothesline because we love that fresh outdoor smell. Not our best buy from Lehman's.
Would not tighten enough to hold hight. Any tension from clothes line collapes the pole. Locking mechanism is plastic and cracked from clothes line weight/tension. Waste of money.
i received my 2 packages with one box ripped and missing pieces. the other box was missing pieces and what was in the box was bent. WILL BE RETURNING!!!!
I ordered a package of six clothes line supports but the package I received today had only two supports in it. what gives with that?
