It is sturdy, however I won't put a lot of weight on the shelves, because the screws that keep the shelf on place are very short. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

This is a sturdy piece. comes in a long pretty heavy box. i am 70 and 4'10" female in an apt. I had to flip it end over end, first off the front porch of the building and down the sidewalk to my 4 step wooden porch, then drag it up. Nothing broke or was dented. The staggered shelves are consructed in two sections andxare not light when done. I was putting it together essentially in a studio apt full of moving boxes. You need some room to do it. After shelf sections are built these are fastened to the long side rails. This was difficult for me due to havevto hold the shelving sections on place while screwing them to the railsThe screws work well. No tools are included, but I just used my drill. It was harder for me alone than if i had had a assistance. But it is doable.

I purchased 2 of these shelves because I found them very unique and the price I paid just couldn't be beat. The most surprising thing is how very well made these are. My husband, who really hates putting things together, was very surprised at how well these went together. All the holes lined up perfectly and they went together quite quickly. They gave you the exact amount of screws you need so there are no left-overs. I am very impressed and pleased with this purchase.

this bookshelf is gorgeous! It was an incredible price for what you get. Pay close attention to the instructions and you can have this built in record time too. My only complaint is that i didnt get two!

This is the best shelf ine can have. Mine arrived a little dented and screw hole missed, customer service was very nice and sent me the replacement right away! Happy with the purchase

I am happy with these shelves. They are well-constructed, easy to install, and easily accessible. The modern look is my favorite part. Reasonably priced.

I received one shelf unit that was perfect and went together quickly. Very nice and sturdy shelf. The other one I received had a tab broken off of it. I sent a message to the seller and never received a response after several emails. I ordered this online and the local Walmart didn't have it for a replacement. Couldn't send it back for exchange without a response from the seller.

package was destroyed it was rither used or just poorly taken care of shelves were scratched and some of the holders were bent
