Household Essentials Natural Blended Canvas 24-Pocket over-The-Door Organizer

I have used over the door shoe holders before. The material feels a little stiff and that I my major criticism. Previous shoe storage bags were untreated material that you could easily take shoes out, remove the storage item and wash it in the washer. I think I wold be able to wash it without a problem but I would not put it in to a dryer. This is definitely Italy a line dry item if you ask me. Otherwise my size 11 medium sneakers fit into the pockets very well.

I purchased this item to be used for an unconventional use. I planted my herb garden in it. It is made of a heavy canvas cloth, and is perfect for what I need. I posted a pic for you to see.

It came in fast as I had it shipped to the house came all packed up good, all the piece s were there very easy to put togather quality is good my hubby s shoe s are heavy shoes and it hold s them, good quality for the price I wood buy another one.

Exactly what I needed to get my shoes off the shelf and the floor! Had to fight a little to get my tennis shoes in the slots, but got them in there. Appears pretty sturdy and takes about 10 seconds to put the hooks in and hang it over the door. Had my doubts, but this works perfectly for me! Would definitely recommend!

Hooks that go over the door are heavy duty. If your door is tight to frame like mine, it will eventually push one of the three hooks off the door and you have to push it back over. They are bendable with tools though to get a tight grip on the door. Pockets are good quality, no threads loose or tears. Well made.

Found a cute idea on pinterest to use a 24 pocket shoe holder as an advent calendar and this one worked perfectly. It is nice and plain so I was able to dress it up how I wanted with number tags and tissue paper. Hold a gift for each of my two children per day nicely - like a hot wheels car and a small princess figurine. I am sure it would work nicely as a shoe holder too!

this is narrower than some which worked well on a smaller size linen closet door, used it for pillowcases, washcloths and small pieces. The hooks are a very thin metal so I don't know if it would hold a lot of heavy things. OK for slippers but large track shoes etc won't fit.

The fabric is a little thinner than I was expecting (but not flimsy), and the pockets are very roomy.

Pocket sizes vary not all shoes fit well. Door hangers are flimsy. I just mounted it to the wall.

The overall construction of this over the door organizer is good. I wear a size 11 shoe so putting a pair of shoes into one of the pockets doesn't work so I had to put each shoe in its own pocket except for sandals and flip flops. They fit into one pocket. The worst part of this organizer and the reason I gave it one star...is the tabs that attach the organizer that go over the door. The part that goes over the door, ends up sticking out so much so that it makes closing the door very difficult and has left gouges in the trim of my wood door! Every time I close the door, it catches and scrapes!! If you never plan on closing your door, then this product does what its supposed to do.
