It is exactly as it is described. It will hold your cups and provide some protection for them. It is made of canvas so it is not really sturdy once it is loaded. You could provide an extra layer of support by cutting a piece of cardboard to fit in the bottom of the chest if you need to move it around a lot. For me it is just going to be sitting under a bed on a carpet floor so it works just fine. Well worth the purchase price if you value the china (or whatever) you are storing.

The product is well made and sturdy. It will hold a lot of plates and the inserts are well made to protect the plates. The size is perfect for what I need. It will store a lot of plates in a small area.

This chest is sturdy and holds several mugs. You can't fill it completely with the typical mugs, but a regular coffee cup size should fit better and you'd be able to use all slots.

I purchased several different sizes of these storage cases for my good dinnerware. The variety of sizes is a plus because my European sets have extra pieces like round gravy boats and covered casseroles in various sizes. These cases worked out very well for this type of storage. Shipping was very fast!

I use these for "L" shaped plates with a square bread plate which when put together makes a square. They are safe within the Chest, although I used extra padding because the padding that comes with chest didn't feel thick enough. Will be moving soon and this will be perfect for moving dishes, glasses and cups!

One of my most prized possessions is a handmade lace tablecloth (60 x 84) and matching set of 8 napkins I bought in Venice on a college trip and I have spent years trying to figure out how best to preserve it. Its been in a cedar drawer wrapped in acid-free tissue for 4 years but now I am moving to a new house and needed movable storage. I saw this and hoped for the price it would be a good buy and so far it has not disappointed. It has just enough room for the cloth and napkins folded and the little insert unfolds with slots for 8 napkin rings if you have them (I don't but am seriously considering it now). The box is sturdy and clean, easy to set up right away and a nice neutral color palette (which I liked since I don't know how I'll decorate my dining room area yet). Can't beat it for the price (and I ended up purchasing several other dining-ware storage boxes by the same company, all through Walmart's site-to-store program and Wayfair). My linens are protected and easily stored, and all the storage boxes match; I'm very happy with this chest so far.

This item looks more expensive than it is. On the outside, it has appearance of high quality. On the inside it's quite clear why it doesn't cost much. A thin cardboard bottom and dividers is all that gives it structure. But it absolutely does the job and I am not disappointed.
