Housewares Goods Heavy Duty Clothes Drying Rack - Bamboo

I chose this rack because of its size and that it is made of wood. It's lightweight and not another piece of plastic that will never go back to the earth. I use it mostly to dry my hand washed items, but use it everyday to dry my towel. I have a small bathroom that doesn't have a lot of moving air, so this rack is the perfect answer. Also the rack fits in my bathtub so anything that is likely to drip water, I set the rack in the tub. It folds flat, so when not in use I can tuck it in my closet. It's nicely made and will not snag fabrics. I like it!

Easy to open and to insert liners. It sits at the end of cabinet in my home. The materials are steel, hard plastic and aluminium frame for inside the lid.

When I first opened the box and pulled the little dowels out along with the assembly instructions, I thought I had my hands full. I'm not mechanically inclined. First, I put it together with the wrong sides facing each other - - so I had to take it apart and start over. Then I put it together with one side backwards. Start over one more time! That time I got it right, made sure all the bolts were nice and tight and the fastening bars were fastened. Bottom line? I learned something about putting stuff together and yes, I'd do it again. That rack is doing really well out in the garage, substituting for my clothes dryer appliance, which is currently broken down. It's a great reminder of how everybody used to dry laundry. I'll keep it!

It is smaller than desired, paid same price as I did for one twice the size . It's okay, just not useful for me.

All the horizontal members had to be sanded before use. Too rough for my wife's underwear.

lt was sturdy, but the doles %26 the wood were ruff. You wouldn't want to put your delicates on them to dry.

Had I not been in dire need, I would have sent it back, but because I needed it I assembled it and used it for that one occasion. Now that it's been assembled, I know I cannot return it, but I want you to know that there is no heavy-duty dryer. I needed to hand bathroom floor mats on it, and it's not strong enough for that.
