Houseworks Large Unfinished Pine Wood Storage Crate, Beige

Exactly as described. I purchased 4 for a bookshelf project and I am in the process of staining them now. They did need to be sanded a little before staining.

This was a great way to set up vertical "shelving" when I had to work at home. I was able to increase my desk space to twice as much! They stack well and are sturdy enough to hold my craft supplies now that I've gone back to work. Very happy with these crates.

Exactly as advertised - delivered promptly. Sturdy enough to raise a piece of furniture off the floor, which is how I'm using the two I bought.

There were a few rough places but it was built well for my needs. And I fixed rough areas with sand paper so that they won't snag the fabric I planning to store in it.

I needed a a container to hold my scarves , hays and socks in a pretty wire book shelf I had been given. I thought crates would add a touch of country. But I was disappointed in the quality of the finish. Na amount of sanding stopped the splinters. I painted it but find I will need to line it to protect my knits.

One crate arrived damaged so I had to spend extra fixing. Item said I would get free 2 day shipping, but then I didn't. And, I later found out I couldn't get the same item at Menards fir half the price. So, would shop elsewhere next time.

Delivered with large hole in box. Not packaged well. Several slats completely broken on crate. One splintered lengthwise. Staples holding slats are too short and don't secure the slats to the ends very well. Poorly constructed.

$3 quality. The sideboards were unstapled from the ends, either pulled loose or close to coming loose then had to be tapped back into place. Of the 16 ends, no fewer than 12 had to be corrected. One of these same boards came loose again and wood glue was added. Not a good sign within the first 24 hours or before weight was added to the crate.

The 4 crates were packaged in one box and every crate had damage from poor construction to missing staples and wood slats. This was first order which was delayed due to availability. It arrived AFTER a second order which also had similar damage but not as much. There were two undamaged crates in that order. Not a shipping problem.

This product is offered significantly cheaper in store. The same crate better quality was $8.00 less in store.
