Never had a issue. Only thing I don't care for is the breaks are so touchy it will fling you forward and can get hurt very bad. It does work great. It's fast. Just worry my son will get hurt. Just get a full face helmet for your child. Do not recommend for children younger then 14 That's my sons age. Bright lights. Great battery life , Bluetooth. Everything works great. No assembly It's already all done pretty much. The breaks are my only issue They are only in the front which will flip you forward and very very hard Bot to jerk when you break.
i love this scooter its big and heavyduty. the inner tubes had to replace when i got it. also i love the scooter so much i bought a 2nd one, but came manufacturer broken and had to send back. got money back, but couldnt get another because sold out! bummer!!!
Got this as a Christmas present for my son. We had some health issues and couldn't help him get it set up right after Christmas we waited until end of Jan beginning of Feb to open it and get it going for him. Open the box threw it on the charger and it didn't turn on or light up. I reached out to Hover1 customer service who is not willing to help get it fixed whatsoever. Referred me to a local repair shop. Went and reviewed the reviews and this seems normal and people are having the same issues with no help from Hover1. Do not buy! Find a better brand and check reviews first!
I have twins so ordered 2 for their bday. Got them in time but one didn't even work! It's taken me forever to try to get this scooter back and I still have no vehicle to get anywhere to print anything off or to take it to fed ex. I had to just order another scooter for my twins bc he's been so patient. Supposed to arrive today but now it's saying possibly next Monday. The green one hopefully works when we get it, I guess late after I promised my child AGAIN! For the white scooter, I want a complete refund AND at this point a replacement, too! This has been nothing but a hassle!
It didn't work very well until it stopped working for a few minutes after it started. a problem with the S7 display that I searched for on Google was a problem with the accelerator I had to return it despite not having the box in a few days, the money was in my account
Not a good brand when I got the scooter it would not charge up. I went and exchanged it for another one it's been a month and a half and it's only going at a deep of 5mph and it is taking forever to charge. I would not recommend purchasing this electric scooter.
I should have read the reviews!! Do NOT purchase this item. Walmart should remove these scooters they are a waste of time and money. The scooter does not turn on and the packaging had a weird color like if it was mold or some chemical. Returning this to Walmart unhappy and unsatisfied.
Delivery guy left my package in front of the wrong house and I had to spend nearly a week twisting arms just to get my money back because Walmart refused to accept the fact that they messed up the delivery. Went to the store to buy one in person instead and it worked like a piece of junk. I am 225 pounds which is 39 pounds under the weight limit and this scooter can barely travel 25% of the 12 miles promised on a full battery without dying. I used this scooter to travel 2.4 Miles to my job and I got there in about 20 minutes due to the inconsistency of the speed. If the scooter were consistently going 18 MPH for the entire 2.4 Miles, I would've arrived in about half that time. Normally it would take me approximately an hour to walk. After turning the scooter off for about 5 hours, I tried to travel the 2.4 Miles back to my home on the scooter and it died before I even reached a third of the way. I was stuck nearly 2 miles away from my home with a dead scooter that I had to push all the way back. On a separate occasion I took the scooter and rode it for about 2.4 Miles again to run some errands while only periodically turning it off for a few minutes as I went inside of stores. On my way back it died at around the same spot as it did the first time I rode it for 2.4 Miles. I figured out that the only way I was going to be able to travel from Point A to Point B and back to Point A again, even on a full battery, was to charge the scooter in between stops. This is inconvenient considering that it takes up to 6 hours to charge. This scooter can go up to 18 MPH going downhill and probably about 10-14 MPH steady on flat surface. But if you're going up even the slightest slope that you wouldn't even be able to notice unless you used an inclinometer to measure it, this scooter will only go about 2-6 MPH. And if you can see the slope you're going to have to get off and push it. The speaker is pretty weak and I can barely hear it on max volume when there are vehicles nearby. This scooter is probably okay if you're gonna use it to ride across the street to ask your neighbor for a cup of sugar, but if you're going to use it to ride anywhere even remotely distant, just make sure you have enough cash to get an Uber back.
I ordered this for my son which is a college student and he goes to school 2 hours away from home so I had it shipped directly to him. And I am so ticked off 1st it came with a South American charger he lives in Ohio. Therefore he had to buy another charger! 2nd the scooter never powered on and he tried to take it back to the store and like any typical College kid he didn't think that he would need to keep the box which he has no where to store in the 1st place and the Walmart store told him they needed the paper inserts in order to return it and gave him a 866 number to call. I called the number they told Me that the store should have handled the exchange so I then had to call and talk to the manager and after all of that he was given a refund which I am Thankful for but now I have to find him another one and I am totally scared to order off line again!
Delivery was timely less than 48 hours. However the scooter will not power on. I read the manual and it said it could be in sleep mode, so I did what eas suggested and still no power on. Only way to contacrt Hover-1 is theu email, so I giess I'll reach out to Walmart. what good is a timely delivery if I still don't get to use it? on the other hand the white pearl is NICE.
