Hover-1 i-200 Hoverboard for Children, Bluetooth Speaker & LED Lights, 7 mph Max Speed, Black

I really had so much fun with this Hover-1 i-200 Electric scooter with Bluetooth speaker. My granddaughter helper me plug it in...about 6 hrs it was fully charged. The light on the indicater turned green. After unplugging the front headlights and fender lights will turn on automatically during riding. They shut off automatically when the scooter is turned off. My granddaughter paired it using the bluetooth speaker to her Samsung smart phone. The scooter said "paired" When it was paired successfully. It was pretty simple to do. The only negative was that the speaker on the scooter is not equipped with microphone and is NOT able to answer calls....but I feel that's safer and wanted my granddaughter to just have fun!

My kids (pre-teen and teens) LOVE this hoverboard. Many of my kids' friends are allowed to ride hoverboards inside their homes, but we have too much stuff to do that. Our hoverboard is an outside only device. Still, my kids have always wanted a hoverboard and this one is beyond all of our expectations. This one is way better than the typical. Its quality is super-sturdy, it's design is modern and ultra-sleek with the rainbow LED lights on the wheels, and it is super duper stable. My teen with great balance easily mastered the operation (leaning forwards and backwards to go forward and slow down, respectively) immediately. My kids say that they barely have to lean in to get this to move properly. This hoverboard's turning radius is great--just a little lean into the direction of the turn and you are on your way into a new direction! My pre-teen that struggles with balance still got the hang of this fairly quickly and within 30 minutes was going all over our street and sidewalks on it. Pairing the hoverboard via bluetooth to my pre-teen's phone was a breeze (took less than one minute!), and the speakers were nice quality (way better sound than I expected). My kids and I brainstormed a variety of fun and relaxing ways to use this hoverboard with its sound system: the obvious is playing music, but also listening to books on tape, listening to classes/lectures from school, talking to a friend while on the phone and simultaneously riding the hoverboard, etc. All around, this hoverboard is quickly becoming a favorite activity of all three of my kids as a way to entertain, to get across the neighborhood via something way nicer than the typical mechanical scooter, and even to relax/relieve stress. This is my kids' favorite entertainment tool in years! Don't hesitate to purchase this hoverboard. We're going to have years of enjoyment with it, I can tell already!

I can say that it was a bit scary when I first tried it, before allowing my son to try it. Once I got a hold of how to move around and stop it and everything, it became fun to ride. I did make sure that I had my helmet on though! Lol. The lights and music are a cool touch as well!

This hoverboard is the coolest thing I've seen in a while riding in style with LED lights and music my son gonna feel like the coolest dude on the block lol. The max weight is 160 pounds so be careful make sure you don't go over the weight limit. What I also like about this is when you take your feet off have in the wrong place or pick the board up it flashes a red light and makes a beeping noise. I would definitely 100% recommend this to a friend and the Retail price is not bad at all. My son is going to love this for years to come.

My kids and my husband had so much fun on this thing! We’ve had something similar in the past but it didn’t get much use since it was kind of hard to use. It didn’t roll very smoothly. This one is great. It has a pretty good battery life. They used it constantly for a few days without having to recharge it. It has good wheels. Rolled just fine on our rocky concrete street and through gravel. It even worked on the carpet in our house. Very easy for the kids to maneuver. The lights on it are very vibrant. The colors change and are really pretty and cool to look at when it’s dark out. The Bluetooth easily connected to my phone for music. It has an okay range but you definitely want to have the phone in your pocket while riding as it starts to break up. Good, clear sound quality though and very loud. The only con is the weight limit on these things. Just wish it was a little higher. The limit is 160lbs, but then again it is for kids. Would definitely recommend!

I bought my 4 girls each one of these hoverboard because the regular ones with black wheels from hover-1 were turning my carpet and white molding black! I thought the clear wheels on these would be the prefect fix, it did take care of the black marks on my trim and my carpet, but 3 of the 4 of them quite working within 2 days, the one wheel locked up and the other wheel doesn’t light up, charging does nothing, they are complete junk! Don’t waste your time, I’ll be returning all of mine and going with a different company!

The hoverboard would not turn on unless the charger was plugged into the device. The charger would turn green when plugged into the wall and hoverboard but when you turn on the hoverboard it doesn't work.

Read mostly positive reviews on this item. We waited weeks for it to arrive. It looks awesome, especially with the intense led lighting. However, we ended up being one of the unlucky ones. We charged the unit fully during the daytime while it could be monitored. Upon first use indoors with my child using it, one side stopped working and locked up. The led indicator started blinking seven times repeatedly. Searching for this error we found a website that had many people with the same issue. Not only did it lock up and not work, but it would not power off! Meanwhile this thing is getting hotter by the minute. This put everyone in a panic without being able to power the unit off and the side with locked wheel motor became so hot you could not touch it. There was literally nothing we could do. I am sitting and waiting for the thing to go into full blown lithium ion thermal meltdown. I had to put it outside on the balcony and had numerous large containers of water at the ready in case this were to ignite. I did not have a fire extinguisher handy and after this incident I will be purchasing several for our apartment. I can’t believe this unit does not have some kind of thermal overload protection that powers the unit off in the event of a failure. I honestly cannot believe it would not power off no matter what we did and we were left helpless and anxious awaiting what might happen. Fortunately, the lights eventually all dimmed and it cooled down over the course of 3 hours. We are returning this. I can’t see chancing another one from this manufacturer as I believe this is too risky having no fail safe in place and not being able to power it off.

Had to wait forever to be mailed. Charged it for an entire day and won't come on

I was excited for my grandson to open this Christmas morning!! I made sure to charge the battery fully a few days before Christmas. The first time he attempted to ride the hoverboard it was smooth riding and took little to no effort on his part. it went dead after about 30 mins of off and on riding indoors at slow speeds. i thought maybe it was because the battery drained somehow over the few days before Christmas so i charged fully again and it again took about 6 hrs. He rode for the second time about 15 mins, same conditions. so i charged the battery again this time taking about 4hrs. same thing again and again!! it's now been a couple of weeks past Christmas and he barely gets to ride a few minutes after each 4-6 hr charge. Not to mention over the last couple of weeks its lost its smoothness no matter how many times i calibrate and will throw you off in a split second. I've tried exchanging at wal mart and online but they claim there is none in stock even though they are available for purchase. don't even bother reaching out to the manufacturer because they are ZERO help. the only thing they offered was an older model rebuilt one. i didn't purchase a used one so that's not gonna fly. i would research reviews and find one that has a reputable company. also the box and instructions stated that there is an app you can download that is so cool and has lots of extra features, doesn't connect to this hoverboard. lights are cool and that's all i can say positive about it.
