I loved it so much my wife got 1 as well. The only con I have found is the air filled tires puncture WAY too easily. If you get one don't get stranded, get solid tires to put on it.
good one . speed is good. kids love it
First off. It arrived in a timely manner and very easy to assemble. The "only" assembly is putting the handle bar on. It took 4 screws that are included and it comes with the necessary tool to tighten the screws. It came with a pump, to pump the tires up, if ever needed. I think it's fantastic. I'm have some age on me and wasn't sure if I would actually be able to ride it. It is so easy to ride. Easy to turn on and push to start, then press the throttle lever that is conveniently located on the handle bar. It even has a cruise control you can set. It has a headlight and taillight. It's lightweight and easy to move around. When you are not using it, it folds away nicely. I think it's great.
I am disabled and I have been looking for an electric wheelchair for quite some time and the prices were outrageous and my husband figured out a way to connect my manual wheelchair to the scooter and also ride on the back
I was hesitant about hopping on this electric scooter and going for a ride. I was concerned that I would not have the balance for it that making turns and breaking would be hard. I was dead wrong. It only took me a couple of minutes on it to figure out how to maneuver it around and now I understand why a lot of my adult friends love what they call the "scoot life". Granted, the scooters some of them ride go up to top speeds of 25miles per hour. My little scoot seems to top out at 8 but that is fine for me. It has a great headlamp and break light for night riding. My 13 year old daughter could not seem to get the hang of it though, she was scared to pick both of her feet up when she accelerated, but she is not athletic or daring at all (she doesnt even know how to ride a regular bike) so maybe the scoot isnt for everyone, but we have a hover board with a go cart attachment and she LOVES that. I really like how the scooter folds down on itself for easy handling and storage. It's a great and fun ride.
I like everything about Hover-1 E-Scooter, it has 2 speed's, you have to start by pushing off to get it rolling a little before it starts. It is suggested to manually ride it a bit to get comfortable balancing on it first. I haven't had it long enough to say how it holds up over time, but for now it's a fun ride.
DO NOT BUY! Terrible motor, underpowered, barely gets up to top speed, barely keeps battery life after 1 ride. You will have to charge this every time you use it. The back tire WILL blow out. Read the other reviews, I guarantee the 5 stars on this are fakes. Returned mine after one week and 6 individual uses mostly at night and on sidewalks.
The Hover-1 Journey arrived on time Nov29, 2923. It was supposed to charge in 3 to 5 hours and it took 11 hours. Once it was finally charged IT DID NOT POWER ON. I made contact with Walmart to replace it and dropped the broken one off the same night at a FedEx location and this was November 29. It was supposed to arrive Dec. 4, 2023. I have all the tracking numbers and everything and still have no idea when my new one will arrive and I have a new order replacement tracking number! At this point I'm starting to feel like my money was stolen! I just want what I paid for !! A working scooter and not have to worry ! I'm calling Walmart today to see we I can contact these people. Because this is ridiculous. Today is 12/7/2023.
I bought this scooter for my 12 year old daughter that weights maybe 80 pounds. Within 3 months the back tire blew out. I emailed trying to get the tire replaced and I missed the 90 day warranty by 1 day that comes from Hover-1. You can't even buy replacement parts due to them being out of stock. Such a disappointment if you buy it make sure you get the 3 year warranty through Walmart.
I bought this scooter on Black Friday for my sons 12th birthday in April. It worked awesome - BUT only for 30 days! The scooter has an E2 error message that has to do with the accelerator. We are now at the mercy of the manufacturer and buying a replacement part since Walmart no longer gives me the option to return or exchange. At $269 I expected better from both the brand and Walmart. Extremely frustrated. My son was so excited over this gift and now after 30 days it is sitting in the garage needing to be fixed.
