I bought these electric scooters for my two grandsons ages 5 %26 3 for Christmas. They loved them! I recommend only riding on smooth surfaces (driveway, sidewalk) as the road makes for a very bumpy ride and slows down the scooter. They were definitely worth the price.
if you're on the fence, i suggest you buy it! it is awesome and perfect for my 5 and 7 year old. after getting one for my 7yo we had to get another for my 5yo. easy to use, doesnt go to fast, great breaking system. they have so much fun with them! sitting and standing! get it!!
We bought this for our 5 year old great grandson for Christmas. He loved it and has only rode inside due to weather. This morning he got on it and it made a pop sound and he wrecked. Upon examining noticed a large crack in the brown plastic that the front wheels are attached too. It is not even a month old.
Overall it is a great scooter for my 4 year old. I do feel like the battery isn't as good, he probably got an hour or so on it with a full battery.
It's a good scooter, a bit cheap Material wise, even though I got it at a discount from Black Friday deals it's actually pretty fun need to make sure the buttons can actually go in and come out to keep handle bars closed, and the blue plastic hook should be more durable handle bars comes down when riding if you pull back and not being rough on the scooter just riding, other than those things it's pretty fun to ride
So, first of all, it looks like a solid scooter - it's size is perfect. However, it was super hard to figure out how to open it- not sure my 5 year old would be able to do it on his own so we'll leave it open. Also, the turn mechanism takes a bit of getting used to, you have to lean into it and it can be frustrating to figure out. The design is more for an older child but it's the size for a small kid. Also, the wheels look cool but I worry they won't last on our road. We just got it today and we've already had an emotional breakdown or two. Once you figure it out, I'm sure it's super fun and exciting to ride but it definitely has a learning curve. I do like that all it takes is taking your hand off the button to stop it and you have another backup stopper on the back that you can manually use. It's not so fast that it's dangerous but I'm definitely putting some padding on my kid to keep him from injuring himself while he figures out how to lean....
I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AT ALL I BOUGHT IT FOR MY FOUR YEAR OLD SON AND HE'S SO UPSET THAT THE SCOOTER HANDLED DOES WORKS PROPERLY SPENT TIME RESEARCHING ABOUT IT NOT ONLY THAT BUT I REACHED OUT TO WALMART %26 HOVER REGARDING IT NO RESPONSE NOR HELP BASICALLY I WASTED MY MY MONEY AND I ALSO HAVE A VERY UPSET/DISAPPOINTED FOUR YEAR-OLD!
I COULDNT EVEN RATE THE PRODUCT BECAUSE THE SELLER IS A FRAUD! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LIE ABOUT SHIPPING DATE SO YOU CANT CANCEL ORDER THEN YOULL NEVER GET YOUR PRODUCT. DONT ORDER FROM THEM
It broke in two weeks the wheel popped of I just threw it away not sturdy enough to ride home from school across the street in Colorado in the summer/fall time
Very difficult to unfold the handle upright, takes two adults to struggle with. Child has to push and push just to get the electric motor to take over.
