The ProMax has performed amazingly well. I also purchased the beacon and joysticks and this combo has never lost communication. The photos are great and the options are many. I highly recommend this drone system.

if you own just the drone, you will want to buy the Beacon & Joystick accessories to complete the package. It multiplies the number of ways to control your drone. And, the beacon will aid in the drone following you more precisely which can help in minimizing incidents. As an added bonus, the audio recorded on the beacon will "magically" eliminate the sound of the drone.
Weather has been terrible so, thus far, all of my flying has been indoors. The drone performs quite well whether automatically or using manual controls. I also purchased the beacon and joysticks. I'm thinking it will not do great in winds but I've other drones for the purpose.
I've been flying a Mavic Pro for as long as they've been around. Due to the fiasco outlawing DJI and other drone manufacturers from the U.S. I thought I'd try a different brand while I still could. After watching several YouTube reviews I thought I'd give the X1Pro a try and so far I love it. Everything about operating and flying it has proved to be simple and intuitive. The video (4K) and photo quality is equal to my Mavic. The one thing that's got me hooked though is the compact size. I never carried my Mavic on my bike but now I routinely carry and use the X1Pro when out for a ride. I have the ‘beacon' and find the cycling mode really does track precisely through some tight quarters that the ‘follow' mode can't handle. I've gone ahead and ordered the joysticks as well and think I'll get a lot of use using the single joystick mode. All in all, a very impressive drone.
I had a drone before that I had a lot of problems with. The Hoover air is a godsend. It's so easy to operate and the quality of the picture is great.
I am impressed with the build quality and software onboard. It seems to work pretty well once I got used to it. Documentation is a little weak but fortunately there is ample help available on the web.
The Beacon and Joysticks are a perfect addition. They have worked perfectly every time. I have used them in all configurations, and also using the beacon on my MTN bike.
Love the joy sticks and they were so easy to set up and operate
I'm in love with my beacon! Game changer for my hoverair promax. Fun to play with, easy and simple. Looking forward for goggles/fpv in the future!!
