There are several Escooters with this type of tubular frame on the market in the $300 to $500 price range. The Evercross ES2 on sale at Walmart for $399 was an exceptional value. Especially since there are a number of features not even mentioned in the specs or on the video. First of all, it does have a rear mono shock, and the front fork shocks work well, even though they have no adjustment. The true rear rack welded into the frame enables mounting a variety of other items than just the included basket. The seat is hinged to flip forward for easier stowing and removing cargo from the basket. The 12" tires are tubless and have a tread most suitable for smooth surface riding. The scooter length is approximately 52". Why they just state package length instead of actual is beyond me. The display is easy to read and is capable of more functions than most riders will ever use. My impression is that Evercross would attract many more buyers if they expounded on all the unique features compared to the competition. I highly recommend the ES2.
Ordered it for my dad who is a truck driver and sometimes can’t find rides to where he’s going and of course can’t take the truck. We got it and the same day we were assembling it to use it. 1. Easy assembly, pretty much everything comes together already and you just need to tighten some bolts 2. Holds weight. My dad is 210 lbs and I don’t see any issues in the tire 3. You can fold it and take it where you need 4. A little heavy for me but not for my dad. Weights approximately 30 lbs a little less Overall amazing gift. My dad loves it and he’s giving it such a great use! Highly recommend getting it
Love it my son's mother rides on it with him would recommend it especially because of the weight capacity
For $399 scooter is pretty decent. Range is way overstated though. weigh about 140 and on pretty level surface only got 12 miles on full charge. Also excelerates a little slow but goes decent speed. takes 10-12 hours to charge fully if battery is dead.
I like the scooter so far directions could be a little easier. Once we figured it out it was pretty simple. the cover on the rear light was broken when we got it. We also had a black Allen head screw left over and still can’t figure out where that goes
I am very disappointed in Walmart's online purchasing system. Two of the power wheels I purchased were not received. The power wheel I purchased for Christmas never came, so they issued me a refund. The second one had a desk delivered instead of the second power wheel I ordered, and when I called, they told me to call back after 48 hours if I did not receive it. It has been well over 48 hours, and I still have not received it. The only response I have received from customer service was that they were very sorry.
The shipping delay on this item was awful. I spent days on the phone with FedEx and when we finally received our package it was so damaged that it couldn't even be salvaged and we had to return to our local Walmart and are still waiting on reimbursement!
I bought my son a scooter, after a while it gave me an error code E07 and they never responded back. He got it in November, and it was it lasted till January. He then convinced my mom to buy him one, it got here today and it has a flat tire. I tried placing air in it, it goes right out. Trying to get them to reply is impossible. Never Ever Again. This company sucks.
When asked if the battery is UL certified, manufacture told me it's "safety certified" when push further they claims the battery is UL certified but when asked for UL certificate, they recommended me to buy another scooter instead. Also service and parts seem to be impossible to obtain with manufacture not having US present. Considering battery fire is a very real thing, the lack of proper independent certification is extremely concerning.
Came without a tube inside the tire. Bought twice! First one i had to return because it had a throttle malfunction and all i was doing was riding it regularly. Second time, it literally came without a tube! It popped on me when i was riding it and i had to take it to a supersports store and pay $50 out my own money to get it fixed. I thought that was the end after that… but NO! Afterwards, once i got done riding it again, the front tire went flat out of nowhere, hinting that it also didn't have a tube inside it. THIS ISN'T A TRUSTWORTHY SELLER BEWARE!!!
