HP 12C Financial Calculator – 120+ Functions for Finance, Accounting & Real Estate – Programmable RPN Calculator with Case & Cloth

This item was provided free of charge by Walmart for me to review. I was selling this EXACT same calculator in a computer store in 1982. I was very curious if they had "cheaped out" on it. Fortunately, they have not. The buttons STILL feel the same very high quality that they were in 1982. The ONLY deletion that I could find it that the instruction book is now online and available for download. The PDF file is 200 pages in English. This is a very smart and capable calculator. Several other languages are also available for download. I only gave 2 stars for ease of operation because of RPN operation. RPN officially stands for Reverse Polish Notation, which may be politically incorrect these days. To do some simple addition you do the following steps: NUMBER ENTER NUMBER FUNCTION. The HP-12C still comes with its nice little case and fits nicely in your hand. This is a financial calculator that is woven into the daily life of loan officers and other professionals that deal with financial calculations. This is STILL a REAL HP-12C calculator and it still has the same high quality look and feel of its siblings from the 1980s. It evens includes a screen cleaning cloth. It is delightful to me to hold a new of these in my hand.

Have used the HP 12C for over twenty-three years. Only calculated I have used for financial calculations. Hope this one holds up as long as the first one.
