The HP 12C is the classic pocket financial calculator. The Reverse Polish notation (RPN) common to HP calculators is easy to become familiar with and use. My calculator is the Platinum edition, which comes with a faux-leather (I think) protective sleeve. The keys of the Platinum calculator have a solid feel when pressed, which leaves the impression of a well-built device. The Platinum calculator is only a few dollars more expensive than the standard edition. IMO both are excellent buys at today's prices.
Wonderful calculator for simple math or more sophisticated financial calculation. I've been using an HP 12C for decades. This was a replacement after years of use.
Super calculator for financial, statistical, and any programmable problem you need.
So glad I upgraded from my 30 year old model. The display is perfect and it responds so much faster than the old model.
Perfect size and functionality. I had one for 35 years before it stopped working.....found exact one and ....what a relief!!
Best HP RPN financial calculator. Meets all financial needs. Recommend this greatly.
This is the 3rd 12c I've owned since 1982. The first two I simply wore out. This model is considerably lighter and uses 3Yr batteries that are more available and cost effective than earlier models. The only con is that the pouch is too tight and rigid to be practicable for daily use. The casing is sufficiently rugged to keep in your shirt pocket.
Always wanted a HP 12C and with this offer I couldn't resist. Having the ability to use either the Reverse Polish Notation or Algebraic modes truely makes this calculator easy to use. Very powerful, very easy to use. Love it.
Thank goodness, a small RPN calculator with decent feeling keys is still available. BUT, Although the HP12c comes 20 years after the first release of similar HP calculators, HP claim it is only 3 times as fast !! AND, although the keys still have the HP feel, the enter key has died after only a few months intermittant usage.
This calculator froze up and died within 3 months of purchase. The quality of these calculators has gone way down since they first came out
