HP 14 Pentium 4GB/128GB w/Office 365 and Mouse

Got this for $269 which included 1 year of Microsoft 365 (which costs $69 to renew annually at last check so an even better deal). The included wireless mouse is a nice add-on but not the deal-maker. The unit boots up quickly from the SSD (at 128GB it's marginal size but great for all I need). A voice menu takes you through setup which inexperienced users will find helpful. Microsoft 365 activated the first time I opened one of the applications. The unit automatically located my Wi-Fi and allowed me to connect seamlessly. The size is perfect for travel if you can live within the 14" screen. For everyday use it's a great laptop. Serious gamers or those needing massive on-board storage look elsewhere. Some ads for this show an SD card slot, but the packaging had a note stating that is available only "on select models". This model was NOT selected, but with 2 standard USB ports and 1 USB-C connectivity should not be an issue via an external card reader. There is an HDMI output if you want to use an external monitor and even an ethernet port if you happen to stumble on a Motel 6 with only wired internet. The power button is a bit recessed requiring a firm press to fire up the unit and the silver keys with thin black letters/numbers can be difficult to see in low light, but again we're talking about a sub-$275 laptop so a backlit keyboard is out of the question. It runs Windows 10 in "S" (safe) mode which I believe limits you to Microsoft's Edge browser unless you disable S mode (I did as I prefer Chrome). All in all for basic on-line banking, shopping, e-mail, web surfing, etc. a fine machine. I don't use any social media but I'm sure it will serve that purpose as well. I purchased this on-line on a Thursday and Walmart shipping delivered it on SUNDAY...shipping was free. Nice touch.

WOW! Ok so many great things to say about this. Laptop. First and foremost this laptop is super thin and light. I do NOT have any problems carry this laptop with one arm while carrying other products as well. It has handles everyday computing very well, such as checking emails, streaming and working on work projects. It has not slowed down on me at all which is GREAT!!!! The screen on this laptop is so beautiful and a great size. All my friends and coworkers have asked me where and how I got such a great laptop for such a bargain price. HP has never disappointed me EVER! I expect nothing but GREATNESS ALWAYS from HP. I definitely recommend this laptop to everyone looking for a great, affordable and light laptop for everyday use. Ok so how can I start so many good qualities about this HP laptop! As I opened it I noticed it was very well packaged and very well protected so nothing will definitely happen to it. It's very very light and the screen I just think the size it's perfect. I use it for school work, emails, web use and also on my free time I use it for Netflix and I love the quality of the videos on my HP laptop. The battery life on it it's great last me a long while when full. I've always loved HP products and this one didn't disappoint me either. I also love the mouse that comes with it for me it's just the perfect size and it's so useful get around to do my work faster love the mouse feature. I would definitely recommend this affordable and absolutely great HP laptop with the mouse 100%.

Great deal! Only con is Windows is in S mode. This means google chrome cannot be your web browser and you cannot download apps from Google. I was unaware of this, however you can take the computer out of S mode if you opt to do so.

Good dependable machine. Perfect for email and web browsing. Don't expect any real horsepower, but overall, worth the money.

It was not what i wanted. I thought it was a chrome book....my error so I returned it and purchased a HP chrome book with touch screen and I am realy enjoyed it,
