[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my laptop purchase. My old laptop was extremely slow and made even simple tasks take a long time. My new laptop was so easy to set up and get rolling. I love the keyboard has different lighting settings as well. I would highly recommend this laptop to friends and family. The only downside is I did purchase the external CD drive because it does not have one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of a new computer and I saw a wonderful buy on an add that I received from HP. I like it very much. It is so much faster then my old desk top and an inexpensive lap top that I bought to learn on. At 85 It has been a challenge but I have a book to help me along so I am getting there. It is nice to have a faster unit and I am enjoying the new features on it.I am looking forward to the challenges.

Had this computer for a couple weeks and so far very happy with it. Very fast, to be expected with new computers. I got the upgraded screen and light up keyboard and very happy with them as well. Plays games at decent levels, not a hardcore PC gamer but runs Starcraft 2 on full graphics. So far happy with my purchase.

I purchased this laptop about three weeks ago. Speed and speakers are very good. Streams internet efficiently. I am disappointed in 1920 x 1080. Not worth the money! I do not see a marked improvement from my old Dell laptop with lower resolution. "Sale" price was reasonable. Very good, but far from special. Beginning to abhor new Microsoft Office software!!

Affter 3 years with my HP 840 G3 (I5), I felt the need to move to a new laptop. I decided on the 15t as I was looking for a bigger screen and better resolution. I have the 15t for about a week. I am not an happy customer. Yes it is faster and bigger but that is it. I hate the keyboard it is not as responsive as the G3. The higher resolution is not really much better but create distortion in the various applications. I will wait another month to pass final judgment. Perhaps it is just getting used too vs. the G# that I really enjoyed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We spent a bit extra for the high resolution screen. It is called anti glare. The screen itself is a type, maybe TN??? It has viewing angles where the display dims and changes in contrast or brightness in other words you have to tip it to get the best image or the sweet spot. I think if I had more information I would have just bought the bright screen although I had no way to compare them visually. Its ok but not a great display. We paid extra for a lighted keyboard. The keyboard is installed above the surface and the lighting shines from in between the keys. Also it only has 2 settings bright medium and off.

I purchased this laptop from Walmart last April as a gift to send to Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, it has been a huge disappointment from the start. The battery was completely dead and wouldn't hold a charge. Even after replacing the battery, the laptop still didn't work properly. To make matters worse, there was an issue with the motherboard, rendering the laptop unusable. This has been the worst laptop I've ever owned, and I would strongly advise against buying it. Save yourself the frustration and money, and look for a more reliable option.
