This Laptop is Truly a POWERHOUSE! I Love Love It! HP Pavilion 15 Horizon Blue Laptop 15.6 Full HD Display, AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, AMD Radeonu2122 Vega 8 Graphic, 8GB SDRAM, 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD, 15-cw1063wm I've tried to highlight everything that was super about this laptop below, and by category as much as I could! I've spent days trying to figure out how to explain all the awesome features that this laptop has, it's truly a Powerhouse in every term! If you have never used a laptop before, or if you're a student, gamer, or just someone who works on the laptop for work or for blogs, or you like to make videos for YouTube, this laptop has it all. I'm going to try and explain the technical stuff later on in this review to help even a beginner who's not familiar with anything on a laptop, so they can understand in laments terms. This laptop is built for the end user (i.e. Me or You) without a doubt! They truly have thought of everything, I couldn't find one thing in which they were even a little weak on, everything was truly sound and very fast, which is what you want on any laptop! The laptop is a very pretty blue and has a 15.6-inch screen and it has high definition like no other, the pictures are crisp and very clean and really in depth. The laptop itself is super thin; if you stand a dime up on its edge it is the exact height; so very thin and lightweight as well. The buttons on the laptop are large and easy to use, it's a joy to type on this laptop compared to others I've tried in the past. SETUP: This is the easiest setup I've ever used or encountered on a laptop to date. Cortana the computers voice will walk you through the entire setup actually talking to you and taking you to pages that you need to complete the setup with. You will need your WIFI password and a couple of others. I had forgotten one of my passwords and Cortana took me right to the page to recover the password and then walked me through the rest of the setup. It was so easy and fast it kind of floored me compared to other laptops I've used in the past. It literally took me less than 10 minutes to be completely ready to go! SYNCING: The laptop will give you the option to sync your laptop with your other devices, such as your home computer or your previous laptop. I highly recommend this option for many reasons, but the main one is that if you are working on a document or some other task at home or at work; you can leave your laptop when you're at home to go to a desktop that's synced and continue on you're desktop right where you left off on your laptop; its super useful and personally I love that you can do that! ONEDRIVE: On my desktop at home I have the program from HP called OneDrive, when I synced this laptop to my desktop it automatically gave me all the documents in my office folders and also it loaded up all my bookmarks and favorites list. It was so awesome to not have to start all those lists over again; and again, it was all automatic, I didn't have to do anything at all. Just another super feature on this laptop! WEBCAM: Just wanted to throw in a quick word on the webcam that comes on this laptop; I've always had trouble getting cameras on my computer and old laptops to work very easily. This webcam is setup perfectly and with one or two clicks you're off and running. It's super easy to use and has a great high def picture as well as it picks up, you're voice really well, so no need for an external microphone! 5 stars from me on this feature as well! I'll try to make the technical short but to the point, this laptop is SUPER FAST, and it has everything someone would look for that makes it amazingly fast. The ram, the processor, the memory, HD speakers and monitor are all top of the line and would be really hard to beat from any competitor in my opinion. The laptop comes with the following specs: (in personal terms so you can understand) The processor is a AMD Quad-Core Ryzen 5 with Vega 8 graphics, (in laments terms, this processor is super-fast and the most current one that I could find on the net from HP, the speed of your laptop is important for many programs such as surfing the web with instant page downloads and no hesitations, with Microsoft office etc.) This processor is super-fast and 5th generation! 8 gigabytes of system memory or ram, ram is probably the most important part of your laptop, it's the speed you're looking for on a laptop and it makes pages load super-fast and almost instantaneous, it's the gas pedal of you're laptop literally, with little ram your laptop will be super slow it'll take forever to load a page or program, but with 8 gigabytes in this laptop you got yourself a screamer for sure, 8 gigs is super-fast and this laptop has it for sure. No lagging from all I've seen on this laptop. 1 Terabyte of hard drive storage; my last computer was 10 years old and an hp, a virus finally finished it off, but my point is this, after 10 years of use with pictures, documents and the works I had only used 270 gigabytes of hard drive storage; leaving me 750 gigabytes of space left. So, on this laptop; to have that much storage is insanely awesome! It will last you a very long time! Windows 10 operating system, (self-explanatory) and WIFI and Bluetooth enabled as well. High Definition Monitor 15.6” and Webcam! 128 GB SSDR4 and DDR4 allows for memory like the ram to run at mega high speeds, allowing again for a super-fast laptop! OVERALL: I would absolutely recommend this laptop to anyone at any time! Its super fast and elegant looking with its slender look and blue top! It has everything a person could possibly want in a laptop, (that's my opinion, but if I could give this laptop 10 stars I totally would!) Absolutely recommended! Having used HP's for the last 13 or so years I can also tell you that they build them super reliable as well!

Processor on this is very fast. I have a gaming computer one year old and this is a little faster. The graphics have a very fast response and a clear HD picture. Has everything you might need including all the ports, WIFI, and USB. Bluetooth works great with my cellphone and headphone. The only thing missing is a CD drive. SDHC works great and handles a class 10 rating. I did make a restore disk of operating system with a 32GB USB memory stick. USB is super fast as well as the Type C USB connection. Has HDMI for second monitor. This is a fantastic laptop, very well designed, I found no flaws, love the keyboard and large touch pad. Don't forget to use Windows Update when it is setup which only takes minutes.

I received the HP Pavilion 15 Horizon Blue Laptop 15.6 Full HD Display, AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, AMD Radeonu2122 Vega 8 Graphic, 8GB SDRAM, 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD, 15-cw1063wm and I'm loving it. This laptop is so lightweight and thin. It weighs 4.2 lbs which is amazing for traveling. The battery life is amazing on this laptop too, Up to 8 hours and 15 minutes with mixed usage, Up to 7 hours with video playback, and up to 5 hours and 45 minutes with wireless streaming. It's operating on the Windows 10 system. The screen is 15.6 HD, great for your eyes. Another great feature is the HP wide vision HD camera with integrated dual array digital microphone. It also comes with B&O with dual speakers which make for amazing sound. The Fog blue color is vivid. I like the laptop runs fast when signing in. The hard drive storage on this laptop is amazing, 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA + 128 GB M.2 solid state drive. This computer is great for doing work or homework. The picture on the laptop is vivid and clear. HP is a name you can really get behind all the HP laptops I have had in the past have been great, I feel like this is the best one yet. I would recommend this computer to anyone looking to upgrade to a new laptop for a reasonable price with the HP brand standing behind it, it is well worth the price.

this HP Pavilion 15 Horizon Blue Laptop 15.6 Full HD Display, AMD Ryzen 5 laptop is a great pc very nice design color and feathers and especially the size this one replaces my old laptop that was just to big the size and especially the weight but not with this laptop it is so much lighter than my old pc im one of those people that takes my pc every where as most people do so weight becomes an issue after a while this one is just right to me I have found this pc also runs much cooler than my old one that another big plus also has a very nice sized screen at 15.6" full hd display now for some of the cool features this pc offers hp wide vision hd web cam 6 wifi plus Bluetooth wireless lan ac (2x2)5 the processor amd ryzen 5 8gb system memory 1 tb plus 128gb ssd 15.6" fhd ips diagonal display windows 10 home operating system also audio by b&o dual hp speakers hp audio boost and tuning by b&o delivers a great audio experience would I recommend this product yes absolutely to anyone interested in purchasing a top notch pc for a gift or for your self absolutely love the weight and size and with all the features it offers it is a great pc thanks

This HP Pavilion 15.6 inch laptop is a pleasure to work with. With 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage this machine has more than enough power for any home or office use. The elevated keyboard is more user friendly and comfortable to work with. The HD Display brings graphics to life and the sound is clear and vibrant. It should be noted however that it does not come with a CD or floppy drive but those are inexpensive and easy to add. I connected a CD drive to it and its perfect for downloading any programs or applications that one would need. It does come with a touch pad as well so some may prefer to connect another mouse. I have had other laptops but this one is far thinner and lighter so it isn't a struggle to take on the road or to the coffee shop. The packaging was excellent and provided plenty of protection on the FEDEX truck-- arriving in excellent condition. The eight hour battery life is also a plus. All in all this is a very worthwhile laptop and I am very happy to have it.

I was nervous having it shipped because I've never purchased electronics online, wasn't sure if shipping would cause damage but it was packed perfectly. The product itself is fantastic! I've only had it a day but so far so good, however, I did purchase the warranty for extra security. Setup was quick

Honestly, it's exactly what I hoped it would be! It has great speeds, beautiful graphics, and the interface is really personal. I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far!

This laptop is an attractive metallic steel-blue color, very thin and trim. It would be excellent for taking with you when traveling due to its compact size. It has a great picture; very clear and colorful graphics. The sound is clear and crisp on the treble and midtones. There's not a lot of bass if you're listening to music, but that's to be expected with the small speaker size in any laptop. It has a full-size keyboard and a touchpad. The letters on the keys are a little too low-contrast if you're not in a well-lighted area. It does not have a touch screen. I connected a mouse with a small stub in one of the USB ports. It has 2 regular USB ports and one little tiny one that I'm not familiar with. It also has a HDMI port for hooking to a TV. The laptop is fast, having 8 GB of RAM. It has lots of storage with 1T hard drive and 128 GB solid state drive. The setup was easy and Cortana can talk you through it, or you can read the instructions yourself. The bad part of setup was the constant barrage of software suggestions, personal questions, and constantly trying to steer you to everything Microsoft has to offer. It wants to download software or sell you software. You have to be vigilant so you don't get accidentally roped into something you don't want. It tries to sell you McAfee virus protection, which you don't need because Windows Defender is an excellent anti-virus program and is included with Windows 10, the operating system the laptop comes with. The battery doesn't last as long as some other laptops. It's rated at 8.25 hours. I'd suggest using it plugged in to power whenever possible, and keeping it plugged in when not in use as the battery goes down even when it's off or asleep. It does fully charge in about 3 hours however. I had a problem with internet connectivity. It would connect and be fine for 20 minutes to 45 minutes then the connection would be lost. I'd have to re-boot the laptop or even the router and modem to get it to connect again. This was on my home Wifi. My PC was fine and stayed connected, so it wasn't the fault of the Wifi.

A pretty decent laptop for the price. I have not had any issues with connection or clock/date settings as in other reviews. I bought this for basic daily internet use, for which it is more than adequate, and for running a small multi-instrument home recording setup, and it hasn't let me down yet. Does everything I ask it too. The only complaint I have is the bulit in webcam. The camera would be amazing if this were a cheap prepaid cell phone from 2005. But it isn't. It's a laptop and this is 2020. Honestly the camera quality is so terrible and garbage I don't know why HP even bothered with it.

Do not buy this. Poorly designed keyboard that does not accurately register keys pressed or not pressed. The most disgusting thing is the touch pad/left/right click button that is unresponsive at times and does not respond when the left or right corners are pressed, i. e. does not click but moves cursor. The buttons must be separate from touch pad.
