A pretty solid everyday computing...computer. If you purchase this for basic applications, web surfing (email etc) and even as a support pc for 3D printing then it's a solid no frills machine. It will not blow up gaming, it's not what it's designed for. However it will do for schoolwork and like tasks. The screen is really the only complaint I have out of the box. It's servicable but it's not 4k. It has a somewhat limited viewing angle, but again it's great for what it is. The i5 cpu, 8gb RAM, and 256 internal storage is plenty, but the RAM and SSD can be upgraded if you'd like. The ssd is an M.2 and changing it out is a simple affair, as is upgrading the RAM. Windows 11 is, well windows. It's not in S mode so you can feel free to download anything, not that you couldn't if it was, simple to exit S mode anyway. I've used it for 3D printing (Lychee, Chitubox) without any issues and it handles the rendering well. It's also handled the basic modeling software, athough it can get bogged down if you load a bit too many at once. It's a safe bet. It won't win any awards but if you know what you need and temper your expectations to the specs, you'll be fine.
There are some things I don't like about it compared to my previous Lenovo laptop, but I'll keep this to features it does have. I like that it's small, light, and was easy to set up. I don't use it for much beyond websurfing, docs, and email, so it has been fast enough from the few uses I've had. Great price for its features. Hopefully HP customer support is good when the time comes.
I am very pleased with the laptop. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles found in other brands or models but for the price I paid, I am very satisfied. After having bought a more expensive 2-in-1 touchscreen fingerprint laptop from another brand which died on me after only 10 days of use, I realized basic is all I ever need. Ultimately, decided on purchasing this because Walmart has an excellent return policy and my cheap HP printer which I bought 4 years ago from a Walmart store still works without any problems. So far so good. No regrets.
Exactly the laptop I wanted for my son. I wanted an HP due to its durability. I also wanted a bare bones computer for his internet searches. Fast and easy.
I mostly purchase this laptop to connect to my TV so I can do my exercise routines in front of a large screen and in my living room where there is more room to move around than in my office. Also, I can take on trips so I can keep up with my e-mail as it is very light weight compared to my ancient tablet.
Set up easily, works really well for what we needed it for! Netflix, online gaming, etc. Super fast and great quality graphics. Happy with our purchase!!
Not so sure why there’s so many bad reviews on this laptop works really well for general purposes and it was easy to startup my 4 year old could do it, keyboard is not so great but it does the job. The screen quality is good as well and it’s fast, it comes with all the essential apps. It’s not too heavy very sturdy when opening stays in place I can tell it will last a while.
Ordered but kept getting notices that was shipped but lost. Seller was no help at all. Finally cancelled because the special occasion it was for had already passed and seller, shipper or Walmart couldn't tell where it was or if it would ever be delivered. So I ordered another one but ordered it through amazon.
Factory seal on the box was broken.. box was open and damaged. The fan sounded like it was going to overheat in a matter of minutes just from starting up.. getting my refund and never looking back.
Bad, i hate it. It breaks easily, does not last long the screen got damaged so quick. Its a good comouter but its very fragile.
