Great for college computer science major

R Jones September 15, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has worked perfectly from the start and serves as a versatile computer for a new freshman because you can use it to take notes with the pen, but it is powerful enough for coding work in computer science.

Top Notch Laptop!

CJ29 September 5, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddo loves it. Very quick with initial setup to include syncing her phone. The laptop is sharp from physical appearance to screen clairty, battery life is amazing and the stylus is surprise me. I'm itching to get one myself. Also I purchased this over the phone with the Lenovo agent and got an extra deal.

Great laptop

Robert Schott December 8, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my new Yoga 7i, 14 inch laptop. The biggest surprise is how fast it charges, very fast. I have never owned a laptop before so some learning curve but not much. Screen size perfect for me. It's a fast pc too. All in all very happy, also with the customer support, I called a couple of times to find out something and they answered right away where very helpful.

Great battery life, exceeds expectations

Andrewwww September 23, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using Lenovo Yogas for almost ten years now. This a solid computer. Keyboard has a nice "click" to it and decent key travel. The computer itself feels solid and not plastic-y like it will break in a year. Screen is brilliant and the touchscreen is so useful. Really surprised at the battery life of this one. I do a fair bit of coding and software testing on various emulators. This is the first laptop that didn't drain its battery significantly while doing that stuff. Amazed that the battery will last 4, 5, even 6 hours when coding, and more when doing simple things like emails or typing documents. Convinced a couple of my friends to buy the same computer. They aren't computer people, but they both love it.

Compact Laptop for any Digital Nomad

Beaky65 July 31, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time to update a 6 year old laptop and started researching a new device while on a recent overseas trip. While my laptop was in great condition and difficult to part with, battery life wasn't the best after 6 years and it was somewhat heavy. By the time I got home I had explored a number of machines and decided on the Lenovo Yoga 7i 14". It has everything I need for travel and home. Updated Windows 11 software and access to One Cloud keeps everything in place across multiple devices while at home or away. The Yoga was easy to set up with my work environment while keeping my personal account separate and safe. The Yoga is sturdy, lightweight, with a vibrant display. While I haven't taken it on the road yet (next month), it will be a great companion for my work life, personal life, travel and just simply relaxing watching a movie or tv show. I bought the 65w travel adapter kit which will allow instant plug in to power sources without having to find adapters when arriving in new countries. The Yoga is a small form than my previous laptop and lighter weight, but they still managed to make the screen size bigger with an edge-to-edge display. They keys are wide for these fat fingers which was another deciding factor. I had a look at one of the models when I was overseas to get a sense of weight and style. In the next few months, this Yoga 7i will sure go through its paces and I am confident it will keep up with what I will need to put it through.

Efficient, Performance, Design, Value for Money

Rosharm August 22, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Attractive laptop with a quality build, and its performance and battery life are solid. A premium laptop, which is relatively affordable. This laptop excels in value. The Yoga 7i is a remarkable device that seamlessly blends performance, portability, and versatility. With its sleek and premium design, the laptop exudes a modern aesthetic that's both eye-catching and professional. The 14-inch screen delivers stunning visuals with vibrant colors and sharp details, making it a delight for both work and entertainment. Under the hood, the Yoga 7i doesn't disappoint. Powered by robust processors, it offers smooth multitasking and efficient performance, handling tasks from everyday work to multimedia consumption with ease. The laptop's impressive battery life ensures that you can stay productive throughout the day without frequent recharges. The real standout feature is the 2-in-1 functionality, allowing you to effortlessly switch between laptop and tablet modes. The touch screen is responsive and accurate, enhancing the overall user experience. The laptop's build quality is top-notch, and the hinge feels sturdy, providing a seamless transition between modes. However, the audio quality could be better, with the speakers sometimes lacking depth. Additionally, while the laptop's slim profile is great for portability, it might limit the number of ports available. Overall, the Yoga 7i 14-inch screen laptop is an excellent choice for professionals and students seeking a combination of performance, style, and adaptability in a single package.

Great little laptop

VickyAofOhio February 12, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new laptop as my old one was becoming outdated on too many fronts. Did some research about what I wanted to be able to find, cost, ratings etc, and landed at this lenovo model. I am no geek for sure, but so far I am quite happy with my purchase. Retiring, plan on some crafts that will require printing images, pretty sure this will handle everything hing zi need it to do. Great size, I am downsizing from a 17 inch dell model that was cumbersome and heavy, this is big enough for me to see, and light enough for me to easily maneuver.

Overall good laptop

Shizu March 12, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thus far its a great laptop. Its a little small and thats not something Im use to but the larger one was sold out and the size isnt a deal break. Love the usb c charger and the batter life is amazing. I think ive needed to charge its three time since i got it a month ago. Fair warning Im a sparce laptop user. I love that it had a pen, but the fact that the pen pressure doesnt work in landscape in painttool sai or CSP. Honestly the pressure sensitivity and pen tilt are lacking a little, but it works well and you can absolutely do art on this laptop.

Love this laptop - pen needs better access

Carl St July 7, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this Yoga 7i convertable laptop. The build is very solid and just projects quality. Finger print reader is really nice for getting into the device and into various applications. The camera with the mechanical shutter to close it is nice. Keyboard feels good and the backlight feature and ability to turn the lighting on/off is a good touch. Haven't really used this in tablet mode much yet. Will be nice to do this some. In my opinion, is a bit heavy to use a lot as a tablet. If you really want a tablet, get a tablet and I have a Samsung tablet that I still love to use. But this will be nice to occasionally use like that. I think that the Windows system does not operate as intuitively in tablet mode as Android does. But perhaps over time I will learn to use Windows 11 better in tablet mode. The convertable aspects of this are really cool - to be able to set it up as a tent to make a presentation or flip all the way backwards. The processing speed, onboard memory and 1TB solid state drive I have not really put to the test yet. But I'm confident that I can do reasonably challenging work and look forward to doing some home video processing when I find the time. I have done serious spreadsheet analyses no problem and enjoy the portability the laptop gives me. My main criticism of the Yoga 7i is regarding the included pen which seems really cool and was one of the reasons that I purchased directly from Lenova. It is said about cameras, "the best camera is the camera you have with you" so that you can take the shot. Well, the pen does not have a slot or any place on the computer to attach it to. Therefore you will not tend to take it with you and therefore you will rarely use the pen. What a shame because this keeps you from learning the wonderful things that you can probably do with the pen. I think the Yoga 7i can probably dazzle people with the use of the pen but it is simply not going to be used. Lenova, please think of a way to add the pen to the tablet - this will give you a big advantage and bring you to a new level. In summary, I feel really good about this convertable laptop but just wish the pen was more convenient to access.
