Perfect
I found server power cords that were double and triple the price of this one. I was septic of buying because I thought it might be a cheap product and possibly not work. I was wrong it's not cheap just in expensive. I would definitely purchase again if needed.

It really handily helped me charge my laptop again. I wasn't too sure what was truly wrong with my laptop or it was my old laptop chord that gave out on me. So when I received my product it truly charged my laptop again. So no need to get a brand new laptop now well for the meantime.

This adapter was purchased as a replacement for the original adapter so I was relieved when I plugged it in and the laptop came on. Thank goddd!

Good luck, you may have no other choice
If you are buying this product, then you probably have to since is designed for a specific HP computer. Mine runs warm, not something I like. I bought the 3 year insurance because my original equipment died being less than 9 months old. I don't usually get product insurance.

Item is what I needed but.....
The product was what I needed. The problem I have with it is that it was not in the manufacture's packaging. The adapter itself was sticky all the way around the unit. I didn't know that Walmart sent out previous returns that were not in their original packaging. It definitely was not new.

HP 45W Laptop charging cable
This item came and does not have 45W anywhere on it so I am sure that it is the correct item for my laptop. It was not in an original package but in a open bag. It had a rubber band wrapped around the cord even though the original Velcro closure was attached. This was either used or refurbished which was not noted in the description when ordering. Poor way to do business.
