The ink is and it's working in the printer are fabulous, as always. But the prices remain too high. You pretty much lock us into using HP cartridges, so you really need to lower the price. Essentially it's up to $.15 per page, just for black ink, now. Please help. And please don't say "Instant Ink is cheaper." It is, but it totally locks us into your system and I know from friends that getting out is hard to do. Simply double the amount of ink--you know that would add almost no cost to you.
I'm very satisfied with my HP 67XL Black Original Ink Cartridge. • Print quality: Crisp and dark black text, exactly what I needed for both documents and photos. • Setup: Super easy to install in my printer; took less than a minute. • Value: The XL size really lasts longer, which saves me time and money. If I could suggest an improvement, it would be to make the price a little more affordable. Overall, I highly recommend it. I use it daily for printing invoices and personal files, and it has never failed me.
It's ink, nothing much to say about it. Ink prices have gotten ridiculous. Main reason I put would not recommend is that everyone has to get the right ink for their printer, so what would be the point of recommending something else?
**Review for HP Ink Cartridge** ⭐☆☆☆☆ I deeply regret buying an HP printer, and these proprietary cartridges only add to the frustration. The printer forces you to use HP cartridges, meaning you can't save money with third-party alternatives. If you try, the printer outright refuses to work. On top of that, the printer requires yet another app just to perform basic functions like printing or checking ink levels. I'm already drowning in apps for every device I own—why do I need an HP app for something so simple? And don't even get me started on the relentless subscription push for HP Instant Ink. It's like every time I blink, there's a pop-up or email reminding me to subscribe. No, I don't want a subscription! I want to buy ink when I need it, not be locked into another monthly payment. This feels like a classic case of corporate greed—locking customers into an ecosystem where they're forced to pay more for convenience they didn't ask for. Never again. If you're considering an HP printer, think twice. There are better options out there that don't treat you like a walking ATM.
I found it difficult to remove old cartridge. Prior HP printer I would push used cartridge in slightly and it would pop out. But new printer HP Deskjet 4227e you push down. Was not easy. Also my old cartridge stopped working even though displayed 1/4 ink left?!? So that was disappointing and means it will cost me more if this continues.
I regret not getting a printer able to handle more paper at a time and ink that last much longer. I underestimated how much I use and need a home office computer.
I changed the ink cartridge and the printer stopped working. Printer is less than a year old and I only use HP ink. Maybe it's time to reconsider my loyalty to HP.
My printer could NOT recognize this cartridge. I followed instructions on HP's website to insure there was no tape residue on the copper contacts and the printer still did not recognize it. Based on the information I found online this seems to be a common problem.
I'm not sure what's going on with this product anymore, but even with purchasing the XL version I am definitely not getting the quantity that I used to. Even printing in draft mode, I am not receiving the page quantity that I used to. This is very unfortunate.
The ink doesn't last very long. Too expensive for the amount of ink prorivided. The same is true with color only more so.
