HP 902 CMY/902XL Black Ink Cartridge 4-pack

Genuine HP printer ink cartridges are what I need and they perform well. Will continue to use genuine cartridges.

Ink works well in HP printers, prices have escalated in last few years. Now approaching the cost of a new printer.

This cartridge, as advertised, delivers sharp images and lasts a lot longer than the smaller cartridge. Nevertheless, it is far too expensive, costing more than double what a generic cartridge costs. Not sure it's worth the price

The price of this ink has gone up by more than 20 percent in the past year. Also, Staples had a promotion of 50% back in points for an HP Ink purchase. After my $125.99 purchase, my points dollar value increased by only $2.00, from $83 to $85. Is this all 50% points bonus is worth?

Replacement ink cartridges remain one of the biggest rip-offs in the home computing world. The cost of the high yield 4 pack now exceed the costs of a new printer. In fact, when my old printer died shortly after I purchased these cartridges, I turned them in (unopened) to Staples and the refund I got slightly exceeded the price of the new replacement printer I bought.

The cartridge works well but it very expensive! I paid more for the cartridges than I paid for the whole HP printer.

Ever since I have installed the ink cartridges in my HP printer I have had to clean the printer head multiple times. After printing the label or a document the successive prints are not satisfactory. I have never cleaned my printer heads in the ten or more years we've had this printer. Evidently the ink was old and sticky or gummy however you'd like to describe it. I bought new ink yesterday and the printer seems to be working fine. Very disheartening to spend over $100 for ink and it not be satisfactory. I have learned since that there is an expiration date on ink which I did not know about. The new ink I purchased expires in next year.

I thought I bought 902XL combo for blue, magenta and yellow ink only to discover it was the black only that was XL. If not because I was so desperate to print when I was out of ink, I would have returned them. This is not nice because I paid for XL not the ordinary color ink. Next time check what you packaged before displaying them on the rack.

The black ink came out in blobs on the paper, The colors did not print at all - very very very faint lines First time this has happened and I have used this product for years
