HP Chromebook 14, 14" Full HD Touchscreen Display, Intel Celeron N3350, Intel HD Graphics 500, 32GB eMMC, 4GB SDRAM, B&O Play Audio, Snow White, 14-ca052wm

Being a "I.T. Guy" It is my pleasure to review the HP 14 ca052wm Full H Touchscreen Chromebook with Intel N3350 Celeron Processor, 4 GB SDRAM Memory. I have always been a fan of the Chrome (Android Operating systems). In the case of this HP Chromebook, you have a combination of a powerful Operating System that still offers ease of use. Anyone who has used an Android phone or tablet will be able to use this Chromebook from the time they start it up and logon. For folks that are not familiar with the Chrome Operating system (Android Operating system) the HP 14 ca052wm, comes with a tutorial that will have you up and going in just a few minutes. This Chromebook is quite a bit lighter than many of the Microsoft Windows Based Laptops I have used for business, weighing in at 3.39 Lbs. While this Chromebook is not intended to replace a business laptop, Microsoft Office apps are available, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. The Chromebook does not off an Internal Network Interface Card, (NIC) it does have a 802.11ac wireless adapter that has excellent range. The Bluetooth function integrates very well with other Android devices, in my case a Samsung Smart TV and a Galaxy 9 phone. Also with most other devices with Bluetooth, in fact the only device I have had an issue with being discovered is a pair of Pyle Bluetooth Speakers, other Bluetooth speakers and headphones pair just fine. The HP Chromebook comes with its own excellent sound through dual speakers and audio by B&O Play. It works well from its touch screen to use of a USB mouse. the ten plus hour battery makes it a great device to have on any trip.

I had the opportunity to use and review the HP 14-ca052wm laptop. The computer looks pretty good, even in white. I actually really love the white, all my other household laptops are black, so it stands out very nicely. The size is just right if you want something compact. There are charging ports on both sides of the laptop which I really like for convenience sake. The laptop holds a charge for quite awhile under light usage. I primarily use the laptop for e-mails, banking and general browsing and it lasts several days before it gets low. It has (2) usb ports and a microSD card slot along with the typical headphone port. The bluetooth and wifi work exactly as they should with easy setup and connection. The speaker sounds pretty good and I'm constantly streaming music while using it with no buffering. The touch pad is great and works wonderfully. I had to look up how to do a few things but now that I know I really like the functionality. The only negative I have is the space between the space key and the touch pad could be a little bigger. If I rest my thumb while typing I've brushed the touch pad and caused the cursor to move off the text area. I can work around that though. The screen can lay completely flat, they say for collaboration with others, but I can't comment on that as I use it solely for personal use. I have been a long time Windows/iOS user so the way this computer runs is different, but it's been fairly self explanatory and easy to pick up on what needs to be done. Pages load quickly and the few apps I downloaded installed quickly and worked well. When the computer comes on it asks for a password then opens up directly into the chrome browser. This works perfectly for me because if I go to use the laptop it's usually to get onto the internet. The display is clear and crisp. I've already downloaded some high resolution desktop pictures because they look so good. Overall I really like this computer. It would be perfect for a student. It's seems sturdy, has a great battery life and is powerful enough to multitask without causing delay. I would recommend this to others.

HP has really outdone themselves with this 14-inch full hd touchscreen chromebook, the graphics is dynamic. The color is crisp, providing intel hd graphics, the screen is wide which is a great addition. It boasts dual speakers with nice, crisp, clear sound. It has a front facing high definition webcam with integrated digital microphones which work very well no matter how they're used. The battey lasts a bit over 10 hours before requiring a charge. Hard drive is a 32g capacity which is plenty. This HP 14-ca052wm is awesome.

I bought this to do school assignments, i haven’t had any issues starting it up. This laptop was within my budget. The negative reviews has me scared to purchase this ,but i went for it anyway and so far so good😀

1st off its NOT a Windows device. So any low reviews comparing to such is dumb. Its hard plastic so advise getting hrd. shell protect. Sounds decent, looks sharp, nice touch screen. You can access Google play store with update.It can be kind of fragile so do get case 4 it. Runs very smooth and even better with play store apps. Chrome store reminds me of Microsoft Windows store not good. I've only been using for 2 + weeks so quality and reliability not established yet (update if unreliable). As of now I'm satisfied. One negative was the condition of of pkging. box on delivery. I notified Walmart 60 days return n/p they were helpful. FedEx really banged up the carton.

This is the slowest Chromebook ive ever had the misfortune of purchasing. Overpriced at $300, a deal perhaps below $200.

I bought this Chromebook from Walmart HP-ca052wm 14”. When I logged into my Google Account, it showed on the My Google Security that I logged into a HP Chromebook x360 11 G1 EE. The same Chromebook was showed in the Android Setup. This is not the Chromebook I bought but another one offered by HP. The Chromebook I bought is a 14” not 11”. I could only assume that HP in their manufacturing failed to initialize a component to the correct Chromebook designation as they would share components among these products offered. I realize that this Chromebook x360 is a new released Chromebook but HP should show diligence in care in their manufacturing. The Chromebook worked well but I was worried about problems in the future for updates as Google viewed it as a different Chromebook. I returned the product. I want to buy another but I need to be assured that the product is recognized as the correct product. I already own two HP Chromebooks and I am very familiar with the product. I am very disappointed with HP support as there is no easy way to bring it to their attention.

Complete and total piece of crap. Don't waste your money. Constantly and randomly shut off during use. Takes forever to turn on. Most of the time when i would press the power button i would sit with a black screen for several minutes before it decided to finally turn on. Even after that it would stay on the “chrome” screen for several minutes. More waiting time than actual usage time.
