Printer works well for the home is good to use makes buying ink a lot cheaper. We see how it goes. It small and fits well on the office desk. No issues so far have waited about five months before reviewing. I took about an hour to set everything up for the printer to be ready for use. Thats registering, Instant ink, and printer itself.
The BEST Walmart purchase I’ve ever made. I upgraded from an Epson printer (it was too big and printed very slow) this HP printer is compact and can go anywhere with u! I love that it’s wireless because there is no need for extra wiring/cords, I can print everything from my phone. Its beautiful and i got one in my favorite color. Highly recommend, its also super easy to set up with the app and it prints good and fast! Highly affordable as well and worth every penny! Dont 2nd guess this purchase like i did 3 times before actually getting it !!
I have been pleased with this little workhorse. I need a small machine to print from my phone in my mountain cottage, and this fits the bill. I love the look and color (seafoam). It is perfect for my needs here, mostly patterns and recipes, but I also printed my tax return on it, a sharp copy. I still am using the starter ink, but I went into this purchase realizing ink is expensive and where the money is made. My only caution is that it requires another step if you're accustomed to printing from books, since the paper has to slide through to copy, rather than be placed on a window, but it is worth it to me to take a photo with my phone to send to the printer to have the compact size of the printer in my small space. The setup was ok. At least it came with instructions that were helpful to point me to more instructions that printed out to address any issues. It is not fast, especially in color, but dependable. I can even send printing from my basement bedroom to upstairs. I bought an older HP model, the only one offered in my store here, but returned it because it was too big, and ordered this one. My sister has another HP 3700 model and has used it problem-free for years, and I hope to do the same with mine. Here it is pictured on the night table.
Just one thing the ink cartridges insert quite hard. It would be helpful to say that they need a good push otherwise all installation directions were good
nice compact wireless printer for home use and occasional scanning and copying. set up fast and easy if you have an Apple computer. HP instant Ink a little more tricky. suggest call HP direct to have them walk you through the set up process. Already received my for replacement inks
For the most part, this printer is awesome! It doesn't take up a lot of room on my desk, and I love the sea green color. It was not too difficult to set up wireless printing. I like that you can insert paper in the top of the printer instead of in a paper tray at the bottom. I find that paper trays usually take up a lot of space. I don't think the scanning is the greatest, but it gets the job done. It can be a challenge to line the paper up just right, so some scans had dark areas. If you need a very basic, inexpensive printer that has a small footprint, this is the one.
It's very slow at printing. My other printer, you could lay whatever you wanted copied down, this one you have to feed into printer to get a copy made. The print itself works good and pictures come out well but very slow. My other printer had separate cartridges for the ink colors, this one has the colors all in one cartridge. That's not good, what happens if one color finishes before the other colors are empty. The price wasn't bad but as they say you get what you pay for!!
bought it for a Christmas present in mid December for my partner as we were out of town for the holidays he didn't get to use it until about the 5th of January, we're retired so he just uses it once in a while on his 3rd time using it it wouldn't print when he was trying to print out tax papers, tried talking to the company but all they would say in an email was its been over 30 days since the purchase if there is a problem contact technical then you're on your own trying to find someone in your area to fix it. meanwhile I bought a new printer and you can bet it wasn't an HP!!
I gave 1 star only because a rating was required in order to post a rating. If I am honest I would not give ANY stars. This printer has been nothing but a headache since I first set it up. It prints whenever it feels like printing, not when I need it to print. Errors pop up all over the place. The only way to "fix" it is to be a computer tech due to all of the over the top language and confusing instructions offered. I assume I am just out of the money that I spent for this piece of crap. I should have known better. Trying to find solutions online or help through the free services offered only sends me down a rabbit hole. I should have sent this garbage back after the first time it stopped printing. But I was suckered in when it decided to work for me again. I know that when and if someone asks me about this printer I am going to tell them NOT to purchase. So disappointed in HP. They typically sell quality products. I have owned 2 two HP computers over the years with NO ISSUES EVER. This printer is a definite DUD. This was purchased June 18, 2020. Why can't I return this crap to the store for a refund? It is only August 7, 2020? I work very hard for my money. evidently that does not matter to some businesses. That figures. I trusted this brand name and I was BEYOND highly disappointed. Thanks for taking my money for a worthless and faulty product.
The price is great, the instant ink subscription sounds amazing and the fact that the printer isnt bulky, is what convinced me to purchase it. I just received it on Thursday and after 2 days of endless attempts of head cleaning and aligning... the documents are printed fuzzy/blurry. Being hopeful that the next head cleaning and next print would be decent gave me a migraine. The print was not readable and its frustrating because it wouldve been the perfect printer if it weren't for that. The print label to return is even blurry, the quality is just unacceptable... the design is cute but its performance is deadly (literally got a massive headache attempting to resolve it)
