Great Features. Color is brilliant just like I would expect from an HP printer. My only dissatisfaction is that the printer driver does not work with Windows 7. I know most have computers that are up to date, but my 7 works fine for what I use it for, and I would think that the printer driver could be made to work with Windiws 7. It does, however, do a great job with my pictures when on my Windows 11 laptop.
Great value for the money. Replaced my old hp 5740 all-in-0ne with this HP Envy 7975. Glad I did. Had somewhat of a problem downloading all the software and drivers. But I figured it out. Nice printer and everything else is great.
Shipping was fast. I could not get the printer to connect to my Dell computer. I spent and hour or so talking to the AI and nothing helped. Finally the AI get me a live HP support tech. After about an hour with him (he did a great job) he finally got the printer to connect and it works fine. Good luck trying to contact HP or finding a tech support phone number. Additionally, I reviewed the Instant ink program and it seems a little expensive. Buying the printer cart is cheaper.
The print function worked fine, once set up. However the scan function cannot locate my computer, even though I just printed wirelessly from it. I even tried directly connecting and nothing, updated all drivers as well. I have had this issue before with HP computer and HP printer. You would think it would be plug and play....
I am not satisfied with this printer. I don't know what it's problem is. I have reached out to HP with the issues with no response. The printer will shut off on it's own and then it tells me I shut it down improperly. The power plug does not fit snug so I have it pushed against the wall to keep it in. But every day, I have to jiggle that power plug to wake it up and use it. I like my printer to be ready and waiting for me. Not me having to prompt it. I don't care for the paper extender. It is difficult to pull out and I worry it will break. I don't want to leave it out because it is a bit flimsy and I fear if I bump it, it will break. HP stopped making my last printer, which I loved and lasted for 10 solid years. I don't anticipate keeping this one long as it is not working well for me. I don't recommend it to anyone who needs their printer ready and waiting for them. If you have the time to wait for it to wake up and want to work for you, then go for it. Otherwise, move on to another printer.
My new HP Photo Envy is very disappointing. When I put the ink cartridges in, it must have damaged the cartridge holder. Removed orange cellophane with difficulty (maybe old?). Dang thing still won't work!
I AM WORKING ON GENEALOGY AND THEREFORE PRINT A MULTITUDE AO PHOTOS! ACCORDING TO THE REVIEW I READ ON THIS PRINT; IT WAS SUPPOSED TO DO AN EXCELLENT JOB WHEN COPYING PHOTOS, BIGGEST PREFABRICATCATION I'VE READ IN YEARS!!! THE FIRST HP PRINTER I OWNED MORE THAN 12 YEARS AGO GAVE A BETTER QUALITY ON COPING PHOTOGRAPHS THAN DOES THIS 7975!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
I purchased the HP Envy Photo 7975 All-in-One printer and the ordering process seemed easy at first — but it turned out not to be as smooth as expected. During checkout, I selected the paper and ink plan, but it apparently did not activate properly. After setting up the printer, I printed my first job of about 50 pages and the ink was already depleted. I assumed the ink subscription plan had kicked in and that replacement cartridges would automatically be sent — but nothing arrived. I later discovered I had to log back in and manually select and confirm both the ink and paper plans again. Because of the ink running out so quickly and the delay with the subscription setup, I haven't even been able to print any photos yet. I was in the middle of creating a journal notebook project with photos included, and I couldn't complete it due to the ink issue. Now I'm stuck waiting even longer for supplies. Overall, the printer setup and subscription enrollment process needs to be clearer and more reliable. It caused delays and frustration right out of the gate.
I have had HP printers for 20 years. This one has had many issues , some randomly occurring. OUT OF PAPER when paper is full. Printing only black and white, no color. Very frustrating! I will attempt to return to Wallmart.
The software to link to a HP computer is not friendly or easy. My old 7900 was much better. I have to be close to the printer for them to link up. It will not allow me to print using my wifi. Not better or improved. My next printer will probably be from a different supplier.
