The reason I have given this product a one star rating has everything to do with the company that fulfilled the order rather than the complete quality of the product. I ordered this laptop for several of the features that were offered. The most relevant is the 2TB hard drive. What I received was a laptop with only a 1TB hard drive, which cost an extra 90 dollars. I don't know if the rest of the components are the ones advertised on Walmart.com. I attempted to contact the seller via Walmart.com and for over a week was met with a "technical difficulty" message that read; "This feature is currently unavailable." I tried to call the company directly and was prompted with a recording that said; " This user has not set up a mailbox." I emailed the company directly twice and received no response. I looked up XiaMi Electronics LLC's reputation online. Multiple, multiple reviews of customers who bought computers from them stated that they received a computer with the wrong components, incompatible components, or obviously used computers with a damaged exterior. Plus, the programs installed on the computers with the promise of a lifetime subscription, such as, MS Office were inaccessible, unusable. Many customers, going through HP or Lenovo's customer support reported that the serial numbers had already been activated, meaning their 1 year warranty only had a few months left or was expired completely as well as being purchased and activated in the UAE. If you manage to initiate a return, they charge around 20 to 50 % for a "restocking" fee, regardless if the problem was their fault to begin with or if the casing was damaged when the customer opened it, XiaMi would often claim that the customer was responsible for the damage so that they could charge the restocking fee. All of this can be verified via the Better Business Beureau's website. Not only does Walmart continue to let them do business on their website, but the major online retailers allow them to as well despite a great deal of evidence that this is a deceptive company. BUYER BEWARE! (Lets see if Walmart allows this review to be posted.)
