Perfect high quality Color LaserJet for small office/home office.
Bought this to replace a comparable but much older HP CP2025dn. The M455dn is a very nice color laser printer that is enterprise quality yet is priced reasonably enough for a small office/home office. Keypad makes it easy to access the embedded web server to set a static IP address on your network and configure many other settings as well. Tip: enable IPSEC on the printer so that logging onto the embedded web server via a browser and https: does not ask you to bypass the requirement for a valid certificate. This printer is quiet, fast, and reliable. It has 1.25 GB of RAM for storage of large or multiple jobs.

A very high quality color laser printer for any busy office or personal setting
Having decades of experience with laser printers, I chose this particular model because I needed both a small footprint and color capacity. Unfortunately, I did not read the fine print and there is no WiFi capability with this model, but it is located 2 feet from the router so that wasn't much of an issue. The quality is supreme. It prints photographic quality images on a multitude of mediums and I've found it even prints on index cards without jamming. My only issue has been communication and having to hard boot the printer in order to clear out the cache and allow printing to continue. That troubleshooting is outside my wheelhouse, so I will continue doing what I'm doing. It works. 90% of my printing is done on cardstock, 45% double-sided, and I've found the speed and quality to be within tolerances that one would expect from a consumer-grade color laser printer, if not slightly above. It was a bit pricey (and the toner is outrageous) but overall I think if it will accept after-market toner then I'm set for a while.
