I had the HP 1020 which I loved, but unfortunately, the drivers are no longer available so I had to upgrade. This printer did not disappoint. It's wireless which I never had before and it prints double-sided automatically or the previous printer ahead the manually feed. it was easy to set up and it comes with a draft option to save ink. for me, it's a perfect option as a Retired professional doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but I don't need them in. The price was great.
Great laser printer. Support techs need instructions to adjust router MP3 security to MP2 will then hook up to your network easy
I like a basic laser printer since I do not need anything that requires color. The printer is used for documents or something I may need a copy of that I take off of my computer. The setup was easy and worked well on the first document I printed from the laser printer. This printer came with a cartridge and so far has been reliable. I will have to make sure I order an extra cartridge to have on hand. I had a HP laser for 10 years before it started having issues and so this new laser printer replaced the one I had to discard. I like HP products.
This monochrome HP LaserJet M209d printer had ethernet and USB connections, no WiFi which is perfect for security at your business or home. The print jobs are fast meaning when you hit print, there's only a slight delay before the printer spits out your documant or envelope. I've installed 5 of these now in homes and at a couple Reception Desks. Everyone using them loves their reliability. Plus this uses toner, not ink, which greatly reduces the usage cost.
After having inkjet printers fail or be incredibly expensive, I added this laser printer to my home setup. I use it for black and white printing -- it is perfect. Highly recommended. I save the inkjet for the occasional color print or two and hope the ink doesn't solidify. (It did that on a more high-end inkjet printer advertised by a very tall %26 large retired NBA player whom I shall not name.)
This is by far the best printer I have ever bought unfortunately there is no color but if you're just doing mail or documents, it is absolutely amazing print and seconds
The printer is adequate, but overpriced for its performance. I only bought this model to satisfy space (height) restrictions.
When it starts to print, its very fast. There's a delay from when I hit print, to when it starts to actually print. Then there's a slight pause in between prints. I don't know if we just used it too often, but the ink indicator has started to flash and we only have used this for about a month. Its possible that the starter ink was not a full one, but I expected the ink/drum to last a litte longer.
Bought this printer to replace an older HP LaserJet. We print from laptops (Windows and Mac) and Android tablets. This printer works with the laptops but not with the Android devices. HP has an app for Android printing, but it does not support this new printer. HP printer tech support was unable to help because, as I learned, they are unaware of this model. Seriously?
When my M209DW is printing it works just fine. I have to keep re-adding the printer since the printer keeps going off-line. I have re-downloaded the drivers but it does not seam to help. The printer will work for 3-4 days without any issues then I will have to remove then re-add the printer to get it to work. I guess I will have to contact HP Tech Support to fix issues.
