HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4301fdn Duplex Multifunction Color Laser Printer

Replace my outdated HP MFP M476 printer. This new MFP 4301 is an exceptional replacement. Fast, quiet and versatile. Does absolutely everything one would need for a small office environment.

The HP Color LJ Pro MFP 4301fdn provides fast, 2-sided printing with high quality color. It's more printer than I really needed but I wanted a workhorse. My last HP LaserJet worked beautifully for upward of ten years. I'm looking forward to the same extraordinary performance from my new one.

The sync is amazing and effortlessly. Printing quality is unparalleled among the experience I had with others due to its design to replace the drum kit with the cartridge.

Good looking, fast, easy to use. The document scanner is awesome, it scans both sides of the page in one quick pass. The front paper tray is handy when you have a short run of a different paper. The setup is easy as all HP printers, just plug in and go.

Once we got the printer set up, it works great. The only possible downfalls is the size of the paper drawer and the very small size of the input screen which we will adjust to. We are very pleased.

Great product, but it runs through ink quickly

I bought this printer as a replacement for an older MFP model that suddenly developed scanning issues. This new one is amazing fast, and print quality is awesome. It's so good that I am considering replacing another printer with this model. That said, there is one thing that is holding me back. The MacOS driver just simply doesn't work. I've tried the essential install, the full install, and manual install. It's not happy. The odd part is that during the driver install process it says that Bonjour isn't enabled, but when I attempt a manual install the printer shows up in the list with the "(Bonjour)" label. So MacOS thinks Bonjour is working fine, but the driver installer doesn't.

I have used nothing but HP printers for the last 15 years. I needed to do an upgrade.I expected an M479 upgrade and got a cheap imitation product. I returned it. That should tell you what you need to know.

The scanner driver continues to fail, having issues getting it to print in color and entire printer occasionally loses connection. I have a new Windows computer so that's not the issue.

First few goes out of the box, printer was fine. All downhill from there. Appears to have lots of firmware and software incompatibility issues with HP Easy Smart Pro app as well as Android phone app. I have never been so frustrated trying to scan/print a document. As someone in my mid 30's, I consider myself pretty computer literate. Password details for printer don't allow me to sign in. Have had to use USB to print documents as no connection to my portable devices. Scanning works on glass, not on the document feeder.... list goes on. This is the first negative review I have ever written. Please help!
