HP OMEN 35L Gaming Desktop, Intel Core i7-14700F, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070Ti, 32GB DDR5, 1TB SSD, Windows 11, GT16-0544

I am not a gamer but I need lots of video and editing power and that is exactly what I get from this customized 35L. I have been jealous of my partner's 30L for a few years and now I feel like I can keep up. My partner just got an OmniPro 7 17 inch laptop too. We are HP all the way!

This is my first gaming-dedicated desktop and I'm loving it. It's exceeded my expectations of most of what I thought it would be like. For the setup experience, I've really been unable to push to its limits, so far! But that's part of why I got the powerhouse - I wanted it to be more than half of what I needed for my usual dual monitor (one is a drawing display tablet) and moderate gaming and drawing activities. Improvements: I can't think of any improvement areas, other than size. Then again, I'm new to gaming dedicated desktops and they are probably beefy in design for several good engineering reasons. I had to get creative with its placement and sit it on my desk's top shelf to keep its intake fans from sucking up too much floor-level dust and pet hair and also because there was little space to keep it at floor-level anyway. Luckily, it all worked out, and it's big for a reason, so not a concern anymore. Now the lights... they attract a lot of attention. I didn't care for them when I planned to buy it, only the hardware performance. But the family loves them almost like a moth to a light. Maybe future versions could use more lights, somewhere, doing something?! Overall, it's an excellent desktop and hope to use it 7 to 10 years before upping to a new computer!

What a fantastic mchine. Love that I was able to customize this configuration so much. It runs ARC raiders buttery smooth at high settings in 4k with the Intel core i7 so that's great! Very happy with my purchase Very quiet too which is a huge plus

My previous PC would not fulfill the full potential of a newly purchased Omen 34c G2 Monitor that I purchased so I purchased this Omen35L which runs all my applications from the past and I am sure the future. What a blessing to be able to run my FSX SE and FS2020 at full tilt and more realism than I have ever been able to experience. It is extremely quiet and easy to access the inside for cleaning and adding future equipment. FAST and QUIET without the heat.

Excellent mid tier computer that's powerful enough for latest games and fast for general computing. Extremely quiet. I'm delighted with this computer. Compared to my 9 year old computer this is replacing, I wish the Omen 35L could hold more than one hdd. Also, it would have been better if the location of the second ssd slot wasn't under the gpu card for easier installation of a 2nd ssd in the future. I've had Hp laptops in the past, but is my first HP desktop and I happy I chose the Omen 35L.

I been HP loyal for decades . This is my 3rd Omen . 2024 model left a lot to be desired .But this model seems to be better with far better architecture downloaded for operating system . Like Wine with years experience comes wisdom .And that begins at very second you turn the device on .From what is allowed in device to perform desired functions to the access point used to set up web with .Today you must address every issue .And we are back to necessity of ANTI VIRUS . The methods used to operate web today matter .And there are pages not recommended for browsing . Beware . Make certain your not trapped into WINDOWS Updates that nothing more then sales tools that end up bugging system forever .I love this model .Trying to keep it functional as my 2015 model another task in itself .Set up your router /modem security priority first and enjoy for years . Spend for Security and VPN . Good Luck .

I thought this PC was going to be fast and also made sure it had lots of RAM. It is not fast at all, even when it is not going to the internet. It seems slower than the 8 year old PC it replaced. I am not much of a gamer so cannot tell if it is great in that area or not. It lags playing MS games.

Hardware is good, but HP is full of bloatware. It acts as a virus, you can't uninstall them. If you buy one of these machines, first thing is to get a fresh install from Microsoft, and be careful to not install anything from HP. The driver's will attempt to do, you have to be careful.

After receiving my OMEN 35L it immediately had issues with games crashing and overheating from fans not working. I had to send it back and HP is sending a new one. Hope the second one works!
