HP OmniBook 5 16" FHD+ Laptop, AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Pro, Silver

I have not had this laptop long enough to give a complete %26 proper evaluation so the ratings offered are likely unfair. Also, this operating system is Windows 11 replacing my Windows 7, both Pro, requiring I learn the operating system differences. Admittedly I do not care for all the "help" this new system attempts to force on the user, which I am constantly having to stop then go looking for how to work around so I am not placed into the same situation. Frankly I would have gladly remained with my Windows 7 laptop but since it is no longer supported my banks are no allowing me access to my online account thereby forcing the change. But apparently Microsoft feels compelled to follow Apple's OS which i my experience is the unfriendliest of OSs! Compounded by Apples refusal to provide written instructions for those of us who can read %26 follow instructions! Which is now also the MS policy - added to their horrendous practice of handing untested code to the users at large!

I love everything about this laptop, except i really liked the backlit keyboard and touch screen of my previous one. All in all tho, this is a great computer at a great price.

This thing flies!!! I had bought a 16 bit and sent it back. what a difference 32 bit and Ryzen 7 processor makes! Definitely recommend!

I had a similar hp previously I used for work, for about 7 years and loved it. I only ordered this one because my old one got so slow and this one had GREAT reviews. I needed more storage. First, it does not have a backlight keyboard, quick battery drainage and only after 3 months started getting a popping sound randomly from the speaker. Also, the speaker sometimes isn't very loud. I wish it was as great as my last hp.

The laptop was advertised as including a NIC, but it did not. The price was adjusted by $20 to account for this. Additionally, I noticed the HP factory warranty had already been activated approximately three months before my purchase. As an IT professional, this raises concerns — it gives the impression that the laptop may be used. PCONLINE US stated that they activated the warranty when they purchased the laptop, but in my view, that's not appropriate. The warranty should be activated by the end user, not the seller.
