The HP OmniBook 5 Flip is a versatile 14 2in 1 laptop featuring a 360° hinge, allowing it to function as. It's designed for productive day as I am work in for long hours on it and it got good battery life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really enjoying the OmniBook. It feels well built and sturdy and the hinge works smoothly when switching modes. It's quick and responsive with no noticeable lag even when I have multiple things open. The keyboard and trackpad are comfortable and the touchscreen has been a big hit with my kids. The webcam is also better than expected for video calls. It's been a great easy laptop to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screen size is amazing easy to use and set up and the software is responsive and up to date, it has a very quiet fan and amazing battery life, it transitioned from laptop to tablet form quickly with no lag. Amazing laptop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP OmniBook 5 Flip 14" Laptop is an impressive flip book that has an Intel® Core™ i5 processor, 16GB TAM and 512GB of SSD storage. What's great about this flip book is that it works on a 360° hinge that adapts to how you want to use it, both vertical and portrait. It isn't flimsy at all which is one of the worries I have with flip books. The lightweight and slim design makes it so easy for me to carry around in my bag opposed to my 15.6 inch screen laptop. The dual speakers are great with a crisp sound. It also has a 5mp IR camera enabling me to partake in Teams meetings on-the-go with ease. The battery life is impressive.. You get to 15 hours of battery life - I found that I can easily get 6+ hours doing intensive tasks. It gets to 50% recharge in just 45 minutes with HP Fast Charger. The graphics card is great and handles my Photoshop tasks with ease. It's worth noting that this isn't a gaming laptop in terms of its internals and design but I have had a go at some basic games which run fine. It has 2x USB-A ports, 2x USB-C, 1x HDMI, 1x display. I love the keyboard (it's not clunky or noisy) and I really like how big the trackpad is. I massively recommend this 14 inch flip book which caters for most needs, gives impressive viewing angles and is really convenient to carry round.
I have had the laptop for 2 months now. It works amazing. I have used it in the US and took it to Europe too. Haven't had any issues connecting it to the internet or charging it. Runs very smoothly and I haven't had issues opening tabs and everything. I use it at a quite hight level, so a few times it took a couple more sec for it to open everything, but I think that was due to my connection as well. I did increase the memory and storage when I bought it. Had a great offer as I bought it around Black Friday. I have the pink version and it is gorgeous. The touch screen works really smoothly and it is very easy to use both touchscreen and the touchpad. Great for multitasking. The pen is great too. I am not using it as much, but a really nice addition. Would absolutely recommend. For the record I am a student in University and would definitely recommend it for students.
Overall Laptop is excellent except the sound of speakers which is very low.
Use it for email, excel & word, websites, & videos. Easy to use, enjoy the flip & touchscreen. Would like a matte screen instead of glass, but I understand a matte screen cannot be a touchscreen,. Needs more instructions & examples of how to use the pen/stylus, & different ways & possibilities for using the pen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really happy with this laptop overall. It feels well-made and good quality for its category, and the price seems fair. I love that it can flip into tablet mode, and the touchscreen and display are both excellent. The only downsides are that it feels a bit heavy for a compact laptop, and the battery life is just okay. Still, it does exactly what I need it to do and I'm very pleased with it overall.
I've been using this laptop for a couple of months, and overall it has been a disappointing experience, especially for office work. I even faced a screen light‑leak issue within a short time of usage. Professional Use Review: Significant lag while using VDI and during Microsoft Teams calls. With just 3 Chrome tabs + Teams call + Outlook + VDI, the system struggles even though it has 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. Cursor movement becomes delayed and unresponsive. Teams messages take a long time to load while on a call, making it very difficult to work smoothly. HP Health Check says everything is fine, but the issues remain unfixed. Home Use Review: OTT apps load well, but the light leak issue on the screen corners is still a concern. Brightness is not sufficient; I often need to keep it at high levels, and it still feels dim. Speakers are extremely weak. Even at 100% volume, it sounds like 30%. My phone speakers are louder. Same issue during Teams calls—audio output is very poor. Final Verdict: Good only for basic home use like watching videos or light browsing. Not recommended for professional work, multitasking, or long video calls. Display quality and speakers are below expectations, and the performance issues severely impact productivity.
