My husband used an HP Pavilion desktop computer for his home office and after he passed away I needed to replace the pc so I purchased another HP Pavilion desktop computer. I had it for 11 years and because Windows 11 is the only software that Microsoft will continue to support as of October 14th so I needed to purchase a new computer with Windows 11 and I got another HP Pavilion desktop computer. I love my new pc and the Windows 11 software it contains. The Pavilion has been a great computer for my home needs and has held up very well with no problems in over 11 years of ownership from my last computer. I'm excited with the options available on my new computer with Windows 11. Thank you HP. I also purchased a new HP printer and it's awesome also. I love my HP Pavilion desktop pc and my HP Envy 6155e printer.
Our last HP desktop was over 10 years old and could not be used with Windows 11. The new HP desktop has everything we needed that many computers no longer have. i.e., CD/DVD player. It also had plenty of memory and, most importantly, Windows 11.
Works well and is very fast. It meets my needs for regular streaming.
The new HP Intel i5 SSD tower with 8 GB RAM is a perfect replacement for our old Dell Intel i3 PC with 4 GB RAM. Our monitor still works perfectly so a desktop tower was all we needed. The new Intel i5 processor and solid state drive allows almost instantaneous start up vs the old PC with its hard drive that could take up to 5 min before fully booted. Setup was quick and easy, and there are plenty of USB ports, including a USB-C on the front. The only thing missing is a CD/DVD drive, but we have an external unit that we use for our laptops that can be utilized if needed. It also looks easy to DIY add more RAM (up to 32 GB) if desired. Sam's Club 2 year protection plan was a nice bonus too. The only problem we had is this new PC did not have drivers pre-installed for our very old Canon MP-250 printer so we couldn't get it to work. Later we discovered that Canon does not have updated drivers for this printer for use with Windows 11, only Windows 10 and older versions. So this is a printer/Windows 11 issue, not an HP computer issue.
In my opinion, this is an excellent computer for the price; it boots very quickly, is quite fast and has reasonable storage space.
Excellent and super fast.
Arrived as described, easy to set up.
The machine is good, but beware of the warranty, HP lists it as expired on the day that I registered Had it not been for the 2 year care pack with the purchase I would be out of luck. But the machine is good.
It's ok, it's a computer!
Have to enter a password every time it starts up!! Tried to stop this but Windows refuses to allow this. I am the only one using MY computer. Very frustrating.
