The Gold Standard for Work-from-Home Comfort and C

jemmap9_6780 January 19, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Poly Blackwire 3220 for several months now, and it has completely transformed my daily workflow. If you spend hours on Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet, this is the "plug-and-play" solution you've been looking for. The sound is crisp and professional. I've asked colleagues during calls, and they say my voice comes through crystal clear with almost zero background noise, thanks to the noise-canceling mic. It's incredibly lightweight. I often forget I'm wearing it, even during back-to-back marathon meetings. The foam ear cushions are soft and don't make my ears hot like leatherette ones do.

Great value

laurad514_3700 December 19, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The headset is very comfy as light weight and easy to use with or without the mic. The mic folds away nicely. The sound quality is good for both the user and the receivers. The A & C adaptor are a welcome addition and make for easy use between devices. Sound and size of headset easy to adjust. Pleased with product.

This is the perfect headset for remote work. It is lightweight and comfortable. The cushion is breathable for your ears. I also really love how it comes with a USB-C plug in and a USB-A converter, making it easy to plug in to any type of laptop. My voice during calls are clear and sound quality is great.

Plantronics Blackwire 3220 is great

sperysian May 20, 2025

I currently work from home and needed a headset asap. I ordered this one because it was suggested that it eorked great for my client's systems. I have been using these for over 6 months now, and they have never let me down. They are an on ear headset, and it has the volume and call controls right on the cord and plug-in.

Comfort is meh, excellent sound/voice transmission.

Brian H222 February 12, 2026

The foam quality feels cheap and irritates my ears. I'm constantly adjusting for comfort. The sound quality, voice transmission, and ease of use are excellent.

Decent, but have to unplug %26 replug regularly

May August 22, 2025

I use this in my cube and listen to YouTube concentration music to drown out coworkers' phone conversations. Unfortunately it cuts off several times a day. I have to unplug and replug it. Also the top is flat and feels a bit hard on my head after a while. The rest seems ok so far. I like that it has both usb-c and usb connection options.

Great quality but scored lower for comfort.

neila9_1659 January 30, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sound is good but comfort wise they weren't the best as I found myself often adjusting the headset whilst wearing it on my head. Overall though the quality of the product is pretty good.

Okay

katied311_2398 December 8, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Blackwire 3220 is a lightweight, comfortable USB headset that's great for work calls and online meetings. The sound is clear, and the noise-cancelling mic picks up your voice really well. It's plug-and-play and has simple inline controls, so it's easy to use. The downsides are that it's not built for high-quality music, and because it's wired, you don't get features like noise-cancelling or wireless freedom. But for everyday calls and reliable performance at a good price, it's a strong choice.

Tear up each of four times purchased

Si June 8, 2026

These Plantronic 3220 blackwire head phones look great but are not very good quality. I counted that I have had 4 in the past 6 years. The phones are okay. The wires near the volume control wear out. My headphones stay connected to one computer and I only use them a few hours about 3 days a week. I don't handle them other than to put them on and take them off. The last pair, I even reinforced the area near the volume control with electrical tape. Lo and behold - sound issues and sure enough, the wire is exposed, yet again.
