HP Smart Tank 5002 Wireless All-in-One Cartridge-Free Ink Tank Printer, 3Yrs Ink Included, Dawn Dusk

Absolutely wonderful. I don't know how I managed before. Am using mine nearly everyday to print this and that. Can thouroughly reccomend and in just a short while very proficient in use. Just one thing to learn, and that's getting the printer to use the whole sheet instead of downward column on left side over Wi-fi!

I was hesitant to buy this after my old reliable HP laser jet no longer had cartridges made. I thought I'd spill the ink bottles, I always dread instruction manuals written by techies, and I wanted my old printer back. But this is a jewel. Super easy to set up, wireless, and the bottles are spill- proof. I love how easy it is to run and forgiving when I can't get the paper in quick enough- it gives me time w/o a blaring blinking “you're out of time” light going on. I highly recommend.

A dissapointment to find out that the paper loader is on the outside and other functions as double side printing is a annoyance. Apparently I picked a printer for kids. No USB cable came with the printer, and it took almost two days to get it operational.

The printer works great. It was easy to set up even with the tank option. However, the software was confusing and did not set up easily. I was hoping for a better experience with the AI printing.

Setting up the printer to operate wirelessly was a bit of a problem amd the instructions could be improved. It would help if you realized some 82 yr old men still have to set up their own equipment and simple step by step directions are a God send. The printer prints color and black and white well and my wife is happy when I print her quilt patterns for her in color. Look forward to multi years without having to buy additional ink and change out cartridges. The next test will be printing out our 2025 income tax returns

Have had this printer a couple of months. It's bulky but connected to wi fi instantly Nd maintains a strong connection. The colours are not as strong when printing compared with my older instant ink deskjet which is a bit disappointing. Luckily I do not do a lot of printing.

I bought this printer on the advice of an HP assistant. He did push it as being more cost effective on ink, which may wello be true, but what he didn't tell me is I can't print on both sides of the paper, so it is more expensive on paper. Had I known this, I would have bought the much more cost effective printer, which he talked me out of.

This printer was extremely difficult to set up and connect to Wi-Fi. Even though it shows an excellent Wi-Fi signal, it won't consistently print. My print job was only two pages, yet it wouldn't print both pages correctly. I spent over 30 minutes just trying to print a shipping label, and when it finally printed, only half the page came out. This is by far the worst printer I've ever purchased. To make matters worse, I didn't even realize it was purple when I ordered it.

Installation was long and convoluted. Print time was unacceptably, long especially for a miniscule Excel document - hours in this case. Returned the 5101 and purchased an Office Jet Pro 9135e.

I bought this to print documents relating to my course. Set everything up and test pages printed. Then I attempt to print a document and no matter what I do it won't print. I would also be amazed it the supplied ink gets anywhere near 3 years. Mind you seeing it's not doing the printing I want it could last for a very long time. Disappointed.
