Ultra product. Easy to use and it can connect and protect all electronics items from large 32” monitors, camera, mouse and keyboard combo, and Bluetooth for audio in my home office. I am very pleased and it takes up very little space. I highly recommend this product.
This is the 120W smaller cousin to the 280W docking station. Despite the lower power output, it can handle all the basic needs of a small business work station setup. Excluding the type-C cable connection from the docking station to the PC, it has 11 various ports: 4-USB type-A super speed (2 with charging), 3-USB 3.0 type-C (1-standard type-C, 1-type-C Thunderbolt 4, 1-type-C+DisplayPort), 2-DisplayPort, 1-HDMI , 1 ethernet. This allows you to hook up at least 2 monitors [max up to 4 depending on the PC]. This cube-like docking station has a small footprint and can handle most of your basic connection needs.,
Took sometime to find the right docking station for my HP Pavilion 16. It might be a little more expensive than some of the other docking stations out there but this has exacting what I needed. It matches the power supply of the laptop so it's always charged. Could use maybe one or two more ports and it would be nice if the audio mini plug port was in the rear.
Overall serves the desired purpose as a docking station. However the set up was not easy, it was not plug and play. This is used with a brand new high spec. HP laptop but the wired ethernet did not work. I had to do a lot of searching of HP support to find a driver that I had to install on the laptop to make the ethernet work.
I basically just plugged my devices in and it all magically worked. I was even able to put my mouse dongle on the dock instead of on my laptop. One knock: I could not find anything about a Thunderbolt cable being included. I had purchased a cable earlier, so it wasn't an issue for me. But, there was a short cable included and I didn't need my other cable. That needs to be in any sales material or someone might buy an unnecessary cable.
Great device but I have had to replace two of them with 1 to 2 years. Another one the ethernet socket quit working and I had to use a USB-C adapter to get internet connection.
This works fine and I can connect all my peripherals. However, I was looking for a true docking station that would allow me to close my laptop and still use my separate monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Since my laptop has outlets for all those already, this is not being used.
Does the job as required.
It has all of the right ports and is a great size, but whenever my computer is plugged in, the monitor connections constantly drop and it causes a lot of display issues. I really wanted to like this because not every docking station has the ports that it does, but make sure you buy from somewhere that has a longer warranty/return policy.
After purchasing a new HP ZBook Fury 16 Laptop & Thunderbolt Dock 120W G4T for my business, I've encountered persistent problems with audio and visual compatibility. This has caused substantial unproductive time over the past four weeks, Clients have been let down, resulting in significant financial losses, and there is still no resolution. I acknowledge that electronic devices are occasionally faulty, but HP's failure to promptly address and resolve these issues is severely detrimental to my business.
