As IT Professionals, we find ourselves having to rely daily on hardware products that work as advertised. Our working ability to interact with "the network" is crucial to making quick decisions that save time for our users and ourselves. HP delivers on this front with machines that you can rely on time after time. The ZBook Fury is such a machine. Yes, it costs more; but you get so much more and the difference in price yields significant benefits in terms of productivity and efficiency; two elements which are crucial to our everyday lives as IT support professionals.
The ZBook business laptop is an excellent computer. It's fast, the screen is bright, power adapter is robust. Only problem is the screen refresh rate has only one option, 60hz. This creates a problem because it forces you to slow down when reading, scrolling screens, turning pages, using the track pad and keyboard, etc. It forces a speed limit at which you may read and interact with the computer. I think this is a design flaw and we should be able to increase the screen refresh rate much higher.
Working as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, this workstation has really good performance and is well design. Great access, easy expandability and good cooling.
An excellent laptop at an equally excellent price!
The perfect mobile workstation
This is my third Z workstation in my career—solid machines with day-in / day-out working capability.

Amazing product
It's a great laptop, exceeded my expectations. Reason for the 4 star instead of 5, I felt the price was a bit high.
I liked the build quality of my zbook g6 better. The upper and lower case parts creak and separate where they meet at the front of the laptop just from the weight on one's hand resting while using the trackpad. It's minor but infuriating. It's a design flaw and could be fixed by correcting the datuming of the removable lower cover. The display has a repeating fine grid of black dots that are visible and distracting when the screen in showing white. The trackpad sometimes is unresponsive for no obvious reason, for just like a half second at a time. The trackpad is too big and the three buttons are as a result are spread out a bit too far apart. I need to move my hand to do right clicks and middle clicks with my thumb, I can't just keep my hand in one position. A big track pad is not better, it should only require finger motion to use, not hand and arm motion. If I need to lift my palm and reposition to click, that is an ergonomic failure. The smaller bezel around the screen is nice. The interior construction looks clean and well thought out. I appreciate the three mechanical buttons on the trackpad. There are lots of professional design engineering and science software packages that really need the physical buttons. Clickpads and gestures do not work.
