Software arrived within hours of ordering and installed easily. Tax data entered quickly and easily. Software double checks everything before completing.. Efile was easy to complete and allows you to check status as IRS processes your return. Already received refund.

I tried the "other" software and I'm back for good. This software makes sure that we don't miss the latest changes in the tax law. It is logical and thorough. My wife has a small business and I am retired. We have investments, business income and expenses, a pension and of course SS. The Deluxe product has exactly what we need to navigate all the possible options in our tax laws.

Used H&R Block's tax program since 2009. Some years are better in terms of ease of use, but the 2025 Delux version made a leap with addition of AI-based help, but it could be more helpful which might require Block take on some risk. But what was particularly painful to work through with the 2025 Delure was RMD related to retirement accounts. Very unclear entries and instructions for first time encounters with RMD; AI HELP broke the ice though.

Make sure all software updates are loaded before filing. An update posted for my software after filing / cost me $55 on my refund. Would have to refile by mail to fix and get the money / not worth the effort. My fault but the software let me do it !

After receiving the greenlight with the “accuracy review“ and getting the pop up that stated my return was “low risk” I entered some information incorrectly 3 weeks ago and still do not have my federal refund probably because I'll have to fix something. Clearly whatever mistake I made was not caught. “Accuracy review” not ACCURATE.

I entered all my Federal info and then downloaded the state tax software. After the download I saved my tax info and returned later to fill out the state forms only to find that all of my fed tax info was gone. I had to delete the original software and reload and once again enter all my fed info plus download state software. Not Good.

I got away from TurboTax over a decade ago after I ran into quality issues with them. Now I'm running into a similar situation with H&R Block's software. No bi issue with Federal, but Oregon state software has a problem and there is no place to report the issue and get it fixed. There is no place in the Oregon software to make an entry for "Political Contribution Credit" to fill in line 26 of form OR-40.. It's a month away from tax day and it is still an issue. And one cannot just make an entry directly into the form. One has to make the entry in the software that has totally left it out. If this doesn't get fixed in the next few weeks, I'll have to resort to manually filling out the OR-40 form and mailing it in. So much for paying for State software.

Walmart should not advertise items that it is unable to ship to customers.

Why did you decide to create an import for 2016 that not only include personal information but prevented me from e-mailing the completed product by preventing me the entry for AGI because the 2016 had it zeroed out and i could not change it. you also do allow for two home mortgages on the same house in one year. one mortgage was sold to the other. I have not been aware tha through all your surveys I have answered that you have changed anything. so I wiil change tttttto another program next year after using hr block for the past 10 or more years.

I purchased the deluxe edition, what a joke. After completing my return, your program wouldn't let me file because my software needed to be updated, but that update wasn't available for 7 days. This delay in filling caused me to not getting my return filed before the Government shut down.
