H&R Block 2023 Deluxe Tax Software PC Download

We always use H%26R Block tax software. Digital download the software. If you keep a file of last year's tax on your computer it will transfer all the basic information (name, address, etc.), which you can review and change if necessary. Steps you through all the questions for the version you buy (standard, deluxe, etc.) SUPER easy!!

Make sure all software updates are loaded before filing. An update posted for my software after filing / cost me $55 on my refund. Would have to refile by mail to fix and get the money / not worth the effort. My fault but the software let me do it !

After receiving the greenlight with the “accuracy review“ and getting the pop up that stated my return was “low risk” I entered some information incorrectly 3 weeks ago and still do not have my federal refund probably because I'll have to fix something. Clearly whatever mistake I made was not caught. “Accuracy review” not ACCURATE.

I entered all my Federal info and then downloaded the state tax software. After the download I saved my tax info and returned later to fill out the state forms only to find that all of my fed tax info was gone. I had to delete the original software and reload and once again enter all my fed info plus download state software. Not Good.

The first one was ordered on March 13, 2024, but I never received the download instructions. I don't need two of these programs, just one. Please refund my account for the second purchase and send the download information for the first. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

DO NOT BUY! Tried multiple times, but digital delivery was not completed. Walmart or their third party provider has a problem fulfilling the digital delivery. Avoid or you end up in a loop with the Walmart help getting recycle requests for the software, then have to fight them to get a refund, if you are lucky.

Why did you decide to create an import for 2016 that not only include personal information but prevented me from e-mailing the completed product by preventing me the entry for AGI because the 2016 had it zeroed out and i could not change it. you also do allow for two home mortgages on the same house in one year. one mortgage was sold to the other. I have not been aware tha through all your surveys I have answered that you have changed anything. so I wiil change tttttto another program next year after using hr block for the past 10 or more years.

Over the years, H%26R block has been decent enough tax prep software to get my family's returns efiled. However, 2023 was the worst tax year by far for me with this software that I might consider alternatives. Their efile servers went down between 9pm on 4/14 and came back up the afternoon of 4/15. This left me with only paper filing options because, at the time, who knew if the server would come back up before 11:59pm on 4/15. 5 efiles are covered under this software, yet I had to pay postage plus around $8 for certified/return receipt for each return i needed to file due to their efile system being down.

After answering all questions, at the final step: print, this software DOES NOT work! This software only prints partial page of all tax form and related schedules. Not only wasted money, wasted so much time too, and have to buy a different tax software. Hr block 800 phone number is no use for this.

H%26R Block's service suffered a TOTAL outage for the most critical tax filing days leading up to the IRS tax-filing deadline. The company was late to provide any sort of meaningful updates and was unwilling to provide an ETA for a restoration of service. Their suggestion to their customers--customers who purchased the software in order to ELECTRONICALLY file--is to print and mail their returns. I have yet to see a RCA on the source of the issue, nor do I have faith the service has been restored to operational. HR Block provides practically no information around the outage of a service that is 100 critical to their product. I suggest you try an alternative, unless you relish frustration and have a bizarre desire in the year 2024 to print your tax return on paper and go to the post office.
