H&R Block Tax Software Premium 2025 for Win/Mac (Digital Download)

I have used a couple different tax software and H&R Block is as good if not better that the other. The ease of use and the interview method of assuring that nothing is missed is really good methodology. On top of that it catches errors with the best of them. It's a great tool for beginners up to experienced preparers.

I have been using this software for several years. It seamlessly pulls in everything I need from the previous year, provides clear guidance, and makes it easy to submit the taxes and save the documents. It is easy to use and the explanations are generally very helpful. I also really appreciate the audit risk analyzer and the ability to get support later if needed. I would recommend.

I have used H&R Block software for several years now. I am self-employed, so have to file a schedule C and my husband gets a 1099, and we both have income from a different state than the one in which we live, so we can't do the easy return. I always find that the software leads me through the proper questions to complete the return easily. It makes filing easy and record keeping simple.

I received the email back in the Fall 2025 on the 2025 HRB software to download. I have been using HRB software for MANY years and feel very comfortable using the software. The information is easily understood and if any questions the side panels have great explanations for me to make an accurate answer. I really like if I need to talk to a human over the phone or go to one of the HRB locations near me I can.

For the first time felt like HR Block SW did not have proper integration and processing ability to import /download / access directly from financial institutions, W2 providers etc., given the fact that integrations have become lot more easier across the spectrum. Also errors do not clearly explain much. So a bit disappointed

Good tax program that needs some improvements to make it outstanding. The CA state tax form does not include the CA 568 in the Premier version for filing the very common single entity LLC. The advertisement implies that the Premier version will handle it. Business version, however, refuses to handle single entity LLC. So, the user must manually fill out this form.

Overall I love the ease of use, but I can't stand the online version. I prefer the version that allows you to download an executable. I completed our full tax returns with the online version and when I got to checkout I needed a code and I never received one so I was unable to checkout. I had to go to my parents house and use their software and re-do our tax return all over

We've used your software for our taxes for the last seven years. This year everything went smooth and we submitted and we owed money, which we had anticipated. We made payment when we filed and thought we were done. We just received a second bill from the IRS stating we "miscalculated your estimated tax penalty". We have always relied on your software to give us a correct calculation of taxes and penalties owed, this year it was a mistake. It is not a huge amount and we've made the payment, but wondered how many others using your tax software found themselves in the same place we are at.

I am gone 3 months from my home so I purchased a downloadable version. I did finally complete my taxes and got my retuns, but I tried to get help through the "chat' button and only received canned responses that do not help me. I may go back to Turbotax since I have used that in the past. I only used the H&R version because I thought I could download my last year's return that was done in person.

My total New York State tax was $11,587 according to H&R Block. Just got a refund check from NYS stating that the correct taxes should be $10,428 based on the filing. NYS didn't make any corrections to my filings, just the taxes are different. Did H&R Block make a mistake?
