HSS Durable 36"W x 16"D x 72"H 5-Shelf Freestanding Shelves, Silver

This is a great shelving unit for the money. I needed it to store supplies for storm season. The 36" wide size was just right for room where I needed it. The 16" wide shelves provides plenty of depth for bags of pet food and flats of canned goods and water. The unit is very stable. Heavier items do best on lower shelves no matter what shelving you buy. The shelf height is easily adjustable. The construction is fairly straight forward. There are 4 poles consisting of 2 sections each, upper and lower that screw together. Construction proceeds by dropping a shelf over the poles from the top down. Because you have to slide the shelves onto the 4 post from the top, I found it easier to build half the unit then screw in the remaining upper poles halves and finish the construction. Make sure the shelves are turned the right way, the flat side is the top side. The side with the rimmed edge is the bottom side. They do not make this clear in the instructions. No tools are required. Each shelf will hold around 200 pounds. All in all, it was an easy construction and a great price for a metal shelving unit. Highly recommend.

Once I stopped trying to put it together upside down, it went really fast. Hopefully you will pay attention to the assembly directions more than I had. It is very sturdy and the shelves hold a lot. I live in a small apartment so I am using it for things I don't want to put in storage. I am going to sew a drape so I can cover it. I am planning on purchasing another to place on the other side of the window. It is working out very well. I am very happy with it.

Great but be aware of pole size. Nowhere can i find info but when i ordered extra shelves which fit 7/8” diameter and were the only ones i could find...they dont fit this model.

These came pretty quick and are as expected. However, one unit contained a pole with a screw connector that had been cross threaded. Attempting to remove it would have damaged all the threads so I will be returning it for an exchange.

Using these for storing kitchen appliances and overflow from a tiny kitchen as well as crafting items. Bought 2 and were easy enough to set up once you figure out where you want the adjustable shelves.

This shelving unit was easy to put together. I put my vinyl records on the bottom shelf and filled the rest of it with plants in my sunroom. It keeps my cats out of the plants and gives me more room, perfect for my needs.

This shelf was purchased to go along a wall with similar shelves. It is not as heavy as the ones purchased from Lowes but you get what you pay for. Decided to move it to my craft room. Will work great there.

Shipping was fast! Faster than Amazon!! Easy to put together however, the metal between the shelving is very thin not sure if it will hold up the weight of glass jars. I didn't think of looking to see what the weight capacity was on each shelf, shame on me.

This one is not bad, but the smaller one is much better. The shelves on this one will crush down the connecting parts to wherever they want to go, and it won't be perfectly level, but it holds okay. The same company, I believe, makes a smaller one, and I have those, and those are very superior to this one.

extremely lightweight.....thin wire construction…..I have other shelving from Walmart which is very strong and reliable.... this set is really very poor...so disappointing.
