Walmart has what you need
Called customer service for metal shelf extensions I purchased; and the pole connectors were 3$ per piece, after I had signed a wavier they would send. Walmart had a set of 4 for 3.06, simple, who I chose.

Was a little small for my unit even though from same manufacturer but with a little plumber's tape it worked out.

Need to improve
These are needed if you're wanting to stack two units together but it definitely needs to be improved. Life everyone else has said, they have a serious problem with the threading. They don't exactly fit well which makes the shelving not as sturdy. Some of them slide right in and you can't even screw them.

Timely delivery, crappy product
I gave 2 stars for timely delivery. The connectors were undersized. The only way they could be used was to wrap copious amounts of teflon tape around the threads. Even then they would not sufficiently tighten. The only thing I could do to use the HSS Pole Connectrs with the Hyper-Tough shelving units was to position the metal shelf over the joint to help strengthen the poles enough for use.

Don't waste your time go to Lowes or Home Depot these do not fit to be able to attach two stands together. They do not catch spin and spin will not lock in place.
