HTH 8106661 1 Qt Pool Care Liquid Algae Guard Filter Cleaner, Pack of 6

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product super algae guard 60 recently and absolutely love it! I've been having a bit of a problem with algae lately and my previous product didn't seem to be working as good as it should have. So by trying this new algae guard and having it remove what the other brand wouldn't...I would say that I am extremely happy with it. It actually took all the Algae away very fast. Now the upkeep is a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one product that is in my arsenal against algae, the others are phosphate eliminator/minimizer, and sanitizer(chlorine) not in that order necessarily. I used two treatments on different days of 12 oz. each time for my 30,000 gallon pool. You have to read and follow the directions and have the correct size of your pool. This product seems pretty fool proof the only way I see it bubbling is if you over add product or your pool is already out of balance.

Our pool water looked like baby diarrhea or dark green swamp water, I could have cried. For weeks I was spending several times daily cleaning, sweeping, removing debris, and cleansing our filter by spraying it off with our hose. Nothing I was doing was working, I was tempted to drain our pool and just be done with it for the season. I happened to read the label of this product and thought it was worth trying, price was right so I really didn't have anything to lose. Product smells amazing! I applied the initial opening pool dose the first day, then decreased the dose over the next couple of days while doing all the steps listed above. This morning our pool is ocean blue, I don't know that its ever looked this good! I would highly recommend this product! I wish I would have taken before and after photos!

The sun just seems to bake away our chemicals as soon as we add them leaving the algae to run amok. Since starting Super Algae Guard in our pool water, seeing the results has been amazing! Our water is pristine and our levels are all within perfect normal range. Highly recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the HTH super algae guard about a week or so ago in hopes of preventing the unappealing algae that swimming pools tend to create at times. I used this product several days ago in my pool and the water is in great condition, still as crystal clear as it was when it was filled, I LOVED the fact that you can swim immediately after using this product, that was a huge advantage. Overall a great product and I would recommend if you don't want nasty gunk in your pool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a bad algae problem in our pool, and this helped tremendously combined with a shock treatment. After roughly 34 hours, the pool went from a dark muddy green to crystal blue. In honesty, I believe the algae guard alone sped up the process. Taking off a star because the algae guard left behind a little foaming issue that took quite a while to dissipate. To explain, it was a mild, thin layer of foam in spaces.
