Insert removal and replacement can be difficult
Basket doesn't fit lock ring, I tried two different units. The slot and tab lock configuration is too tight from an engineering perspective and makes it very difficult if not impossible to lock the basket into the ring. It also sticks when you're trying to release it. The skimmer baskets we use are high quality swimquip, and are flat and plane on their base.If you look at AI online, you'll see many complaints about this. I was hoping that HGH added an improved unit but according to the online literature, Nothing else available just the original one part number 9297968. This is the first time I'we have had problems with anything, HTH
